I bet you this team will look alot better come Staurday night jidt because Vanaceck is in goal. It might be jiat the first game of the year but this loss sucks. No excuse to come out like that against a Flyer team missing some good players and us literally being a cap team now.

Blackwood isn’t good but the defensive structure is worse. Always has been
 
I do think people need to stop panicking.

We need a new head coach. Fortunately, we have that right now on our very own bench.

We need a NEW GOALIE! Not sure if Vanecek is that guy or not, but there's a much better chance than Blackwood.

Blackwood is BAD. TOAST. DONE.

AHL caliber. He should be going head to head in the AHL with Cory Schneider and Keith Kinkaid - Not for our team.

Three good things of the game
-Showed some urgency in the last 10 minutes, hopefully that will carry over.
-Holtz got his 1st goal!
-Hughes doing Hughes things

Can we Sub out Graves for Bahl? At least Bahl knows what his job is which is clearing the crease.

Seriously. If you guys thought some of our bagging on this franchise was insufferable, wait for what’s in store if nothing changes this season. Sick and tired of people trying to tell me as a hardcore observer of this team that they’re not pissing on my leg, it’s really just a lovely soft spring drizzle. Whether that’s the org itself or posters on this forum.

We are down by 2 with next to no time left….who the F cares if he takes a risky chance on that pass? If it connects , it is probably a goal. If we were only down 1 goal and pressing , then yes it would have been a mistake . In this case , I don’t see anything wrong with the play.

The post shots annoyed me too. He got beat clean by a lot of pucks tonight.

Our offensive ineptitude limiting us to 2 GF aside, that just can't happen.

All I said was that the numbers in and of themselves are funny. The fact that you freaked over it is on you.

really at this point... vanicheck is the clear number 1... and if blackwood cannot give them at least a chance to win we look to bernier or dawes....

game two adjustments:
Bahl in for smith
zetterlund in for someone.. bovquist? wood? i thought bovquist was solid he is nice solid player doesn't

yeah im not concerned on that play ... hopefully a teachable moment that wasn't gonna cost us game in any case

It didn't set the franchise back years, but the faith in Blackwood might.

You're right that it's absolutely insane that he's still the head coach.

Like I said, I wouldn't be shocked if he's not the head coach this time next week if we lose to both Detroit and Anaheim at home.

I wouldn't really bet on it, but a bad October will really be the death of him.

And I only believe that because Andrew Brunette is here.
