I was looking at the schedule on TSN earlier, and I normally don't pay attention to the gambling odds because I don't bet on sports, but the line was something absurd like -410 for the Penguins. Nobody is surprised at how that game is going.

I really f***ing mean it this time. Fitz risks going on the hot seat next if he lets him stick around to mediocre or worse results. You think keeping Hynes around another 6 weeks on machines helped Shero keep his job?

If he's still here it means we're doing really good. He won't survive results on par with last year, no matter what the causes. Covid, mumps, Spanish Flu, Monkey Pox, half the team injured in a bus accident.

Bad goaltending (some of that is self inflicted with the PLACATING and faith and hope with Blackwood), it don't matter.

We haven't played well, but we haven't even played one period this season. Home/season openers on the road can be tricky. The 2nd and 3rd periods things will settle down.
