Hell of a season. Better team won. Simple as that. Best season as a jays fan in a long time. Go get 'em next year.

Welp....

man.....

this stings.

So, hopefully Price is back. Stroman will be here. After that I'm not sure.

This team, to be successful, may need to sacrifice power for contact.

It killed us. We had no clue how to play small ball. Tonight's batting performance was unacceptable, Bautista aside.

Now, I will watch the Mets crush the Royals, and at least be satisfied my team #2 won it.

JS if you compare the 2 pictures one of the guy catching the ball and two when he was interviewed he was alot more stretched out in number one. Also the shadow of his glove means proves that it was hanging out farther. You can't get a shadow on the side of the wall while your hand is on top. Shouldn't have been a homer.

Bautista is an absolute beast and he is our leader.

The fix was in, it was beyond obvious. Call me a conspiracy theorist, but anyone with eyes could see that.

Even with the umps blatantly against us, we had a chance.

Josh Donaldson failed us.

2 awful calls by the ump on the non-balk call and the 2nd strike on Revere but you have a man on 3rd and nobody out and can't even get the ball out of the infield.
Two runners on and nobody out in the 5th and can't get one run across. The Jays have nobody to blame but themselves. Great run but rough way to go out.

Hell of a season. I wasn't around to experience 1992/1993 so this was definitely the most fun I've had in a long time. Now, it's time for the fun stuff. Hopefully AA makes the necessary changes to the team and they're ready to compete again come March.

Price is looking for a seven year deal. I want no part of that.

In the end it is on the Jays being unable to just go for contact. They lost this thing because they had no idea how to just carefully get the small hits to get guys home.

Oh well. I mean it sucks, but that's how it goes. Unfortunately they didn't get the job done when it counted. Painful, but that's the end.

I haven't felt this ****** since Leafs lost in game 7 to Boston

I'd rather Toronto teams not make the playoffs. At least then I'm just pissed/annoyed. The worst feeling is heart break

Gotta clean up the hitting, can't rely on 1 or 2 guys to hit homers while everyone else fails to get on base. Bullpen obviously could use help but that wasn't what lost the series, all on the hitting and movement.

Sucks that some small calls killed us. I mean, we sucked, but tiny things can add up big... Especially that one home run. Guy picks up a fair ball in a normal game, he's kicked out. Guy brings in a clear in play ball, he gets interviewed and is a hero.

It would be different if we lost bad or clear, but that is just not the way to go out.

In terms of the Jays having to play more of a contact approach, that point seems completely bunk when the two guys that strike out in the 9th happen to make contact 80-90% of the time. Just tip your hat to Wade freaking Davis. Also Lorenzo Cain for scoring on a single.

Salty as ****, that was a hell of a ride. Let's hope it's not another 22 years between trips.

As for tonight, they have no business advancing anyway with the guys they left on. I thought Gibbons made the right call to go to Osuna. He's the best guy in that spot. Lowe has been overworked, Hawkins sucks, Hendriks is best saved for extras for his long man work, Stroman is obviously saved too.

No bull**** excuses like the umps screwed them or the bad call. If you can't bring in a guy from third with no outs, you don't deserve to win. Simple.
