Lol and didn’t ekholm kind of blame the PK struggles on him a couple of days ago. Like said we make the right plays but a wrister from distance goes in.

Second goal was a dumb pass but they happen on occasion. It’s whatever. I can often give guys a pass for plays when they are TRYING to do something…however…
3rd goal you can’t defend him in the slightest and Skinner if he played with any actual skill in his position could have made a save there.
Just awful from both of them.

Most goalies race to that puck first. Not hesitate forever then race out halfway leaving no chance to make any save.

I didn’t say he was great, I’m saying they gave up freebie goals that AHL teams wouldn’t give up. They played a pitiful game until they were losing.

What are you talking about? We outplayed them and outchanced them most of the night. That second goal was an awful play that is a surefire goal (although I see goalies somehow save that on us all the time, won’t Blame Skinner). Second was Bouchard being awful and Skinner not even being in proper positioning.
I’ve seen goalies stop breakaways like that every night.

McDavid looked pissed for one. I don’t blame him, Skinner refuses to be a pro and work on his deficiencies while being an arrogant asshole. It’s probably no coincidence I have heard Schwartz is the same way.

I've been saying the same thing for a while now. You can see how frustrated Mc-D is with the goaltending.

Mc-D knows that if the team has any chance of returning to the final then he (Mc-D) will have to be almost super human every game.

That's a huge load to carry even for a superstar.

Once again all you have to do is the "swap goalies" test in each game... and the Oilers come out with the easy win more often than not.

All teams make screw ups defensively but Oilers seem to ALWAYS pay the price every single time for theirs.

The leafs never allowed a breakaway or pass it directly to someone in the slot.

Yep. The Oilers have played an excellent pretty airtight game last 4 games and Skinner just keeps giving goals away. Its like he makes one significant stop a night and well thats it. Shot and chance suppression has been great last 4 games and really on a roll with that. Skinner sunk the momentum yet again. Just never feel safe with him in net.

Oilers give up two chances in the third and they both go in.

Skinner needs to stop one of the last three goals.

One player made both of the terrible plays leading to those goals. The Oilers gave up next to nothing on defence prior to Bouchard deciding to launch a muffin into Connor McDavid's ass.

Theres a reason Pickard has a winning record and Skinner doesnt. Its because Skinner is not a real NHL goalie and Pickard is at least a back up.
