So much wrong right now. No physical play, no speed, no goal scorers, no goaltending, poor coaching, no defense, nothing is working right now.
Wonder if this loss will trigger them to do f***ing something other than waste all our saved cap on a guy they decided to sit.
Kapanen should be waived, brings nothing that Skinner doesn’t.

Only question is how many games is this gonna go?

Is this gonna be one of our annual months off? Probably. Must be nice to be an Oiler. Can just take a month off mid season every year and nobody in the org bats an eye. Holding a player accountable that badly needs it? Making an example of someone? Nah, not here.

We’ll just lose 8 games and piss a season into the wind. It just what we do here. f***ing p***yes.

With the way the Oilers are playing, they're probably going to lose the rest of the games on this road trip. I suspect they're going to have to rebuild their confidence and game when they get back home in a back to basics type reset as a result.

On the plus side, the lack of quality goaltending will force the GM's hand and adversity breeds better teams

Oilers know they have no chance with this goaltending, theyre giving up

Yep. I don't really blame them. You can't ask a team to keep doing this stupid dog and pony show every regular season, at some point the players check out to it. Every year is the same thing, either the basket of crap that is Skinner/Koskinen tier goaltending or 39-year-old Mike Smith who you know is geriatric and won't have anything left in the tank after round 1 of a playoffs.

The goaltending will just get blamed on the defense. It already is.

Not that the defense isn’t shit too, but it will get trotted out as the reason I’m sure.

16-4 were the HDSC for the Bolts in this game. They generated nothing.

We limped into the break, but we came out of the break a disaster. Only drai came ready to play. Everyone else, McDavid included aren’t ready to play

We’ve been garbage ever since the comeback game in Colorado. Won in spite of ourselves for a bit, now fully in the gutter and getting worse.

Did I hear this week (in the media) that the Oilers are not even bothering to look at bringing in another goalie?

I can understand that getting one might be impossible but to just sit back and rest on the status quo?

I roasted Bouch, Nuge and Skinner after the Philly game, the Washington game I decided to laugh it off. I’m back to roasting Bouch, Nuge and Skinner once again.
Wtf is wrong with these clowns? Two limp dick players and a 6’4” goalie who can’t even stop a wrap around.
There’s no Cup coming this year and I’d bet on it.

Probably better shutting McDavid down for the year. Selling off veterans.

And trying to retool next year.

Also get a goaltender for the future.

Team stinks and is boring. Knoblauch can’t coach offense.
