Lehky-MacK-Marty
Drouin-Nelson-Nuke
Colton-Drury-Coyle
Kivi-Kelly-LOC

This is what I feel like will happen.

Ross needs to get his head out of Miles' ass and play like he did before he broke his foot and that 3rd line is real hard to play against
I dont see Coyle and Drury on the same line. That is 3C and 4C right there. I would try LOC as 3RW to start.... but we know its gonna be a Blendar

Not if we will actually use both units.

I'm hoping like hell this means Bednar isn't just thinking two minutes for the top unit.
Bednar has been running 2 units now for a few games.

It’s not 2 completely different units though because Mack and Makar stay on. So we get 6 different players out there now for the PPs.

Nelson, Nuke, Lehkonen, Colton, Toews and Drouin will all get some PP minutes.

Didn't see the last game but yeah, I noticed that he's swapped out players while keeping Nate and Cale on more lately.

That's a good thing in my opinion. A real sign of him actually trying something new.

So we all agree that Bedsy needs to be fired if we don't make a deep playoff run right (I for the record think he'll get outcoached especially if he has to play Cassidy/De Boer).
If Avs play Dallas in the 1st round, it’s a coin flip who will win. Losing to Dallas won’t be an upset to fire Bednar

Loosing to Mikko in the playoffs, should be reason for every single Avalanche player to void their contract. Every single Avalanche fan should get another team to watch. The Colorado River... yeah, it will continue to run in beauty forever and after Arizona folds the next time we could have a shot at a team again. Screw everything else though.

If Mikko eliminates the Avs from the playoffs, I am done with the Avs. (Actually... I'll probably be done with hockey... but I will be sending Mikko a big bottle of whatever his favorite is for the long troll).

Pretty strong statement. The way I see it is, if both teams are healthy, it’s a toss up. Very evenly matched. I don’t like the Stars and I hate losing to them, but I’d understand if we did. This is why I wish Avs and Stars didn’t play each other in the 1st round

The way I see it, if you are a fan of the team... you put it down for them.

I am willing to say we are a much better team than the Dallas Stars this season moving forward. I'll take those lumps if proven wrong, we all have over the years, eh?

That being said, I'm so much happier headed into the stretch feeling better about the team than I did 72 hours ago.

Yeah but if we do lose to Dallas, you shouldn’t give up on the Avs or hockey like you said. It’s not like we’ll be losing to a shitty team. They are actually a really good team. Just my opinion

Jets are for real this season though. It would be tough.

The Jets are a very good team. But I always think of them as the KC Chiefs from the 1990s. They go 12-4 every year but lose in the first or second round of the playoffs. In those days, a formula for going 12-4 was about not losing games or making mistakes. Then comes the playoffs and it’s no longer about not losing games but about winning games. There’s a big difference. Yes, this is kind of a high floor vs high ceiling conversation.

I respect the Jets a lot, fwiw. It’s one of the least desirable markets in the NHL, yet here they are. Any team can win if things go right, I guess.

Would I realy be giving up? Or giving myself over to better hockey?

I don't ever want to turn in the fact that I've been a fan of the Avs since Roy was traded. Until then, I loved every single team in the league because I was a new fan. It was hard for a me to pick "one" team. The Stars were still in Minny... Texas had nothing with regards to hockey, so I feel in love with the sport by watching the Providence Bruins and running down from Portsmouth, NH to catch games in Boston. Went to Montreal and watched some there as well.

Those first few years though.... I had a group of friends that loved so many different teams. We were constantly playing Sega Hockey and talking shit, and I felt like I had a much better grasp on the entire league as a result. As the TV market shifted to giving us 82 games of our favorite team, I unfortunately quit watching other teams as much because I wanted to watch "my team". The pendulum has shifted entirely too far and I'm not well versed enough on the rest of the league anymore.

It's kind of a catch-22.

Im assuming that is just betting odds, but man Edmonton hype should've plummeted. One of the worst goalie tandems in the league, average d with no depth and their bottom 6 has barely produced. Heck even beyond Mcdrai the rest of their top 6 has been mediocre or downright bad. Imagine us with Arviddson and Podkolzin in our top 6 after the TDL lol. That team better hope Mcdrai pot 50 points this playoffs.
