Got home a little while ago - fantastic day and crowd. Not sure what was going on but seeing a 1-5 team supposedly getting slaughtered people were in a good mood

Mac had a heck of a game

Buffalo was missing 4 studs on defense but the Patriots were a few as well

I don’t like Duggar playing deep/free safety

Barmore, White, Wise etc could be a heck of a DL

Incredible win enjoyable even if screwed their pick

Did JU JU play? Parker had 1 target - he was there to make the D 9.5 players that’s all he’s got

And I picked GB why ?
All they had to do was run the clock down and kick it.

Also, I'm happy for Mac.

He gets a lot of hate, some warranted, but most of it isnt.

This was a signature win for him. He's been on the cusp of having a late game winning drive against good teams a few times this season. Glad he finally was able to finish it off.

He looked good.

About as good as the oline and receivers who I've been told are the worst in the league. :)
Aren't both of those units ranked near the bottom of the league? Tyquan Thornton, DeVante Parker, JuJu...those guys are useless. I would consider Kendrick Bourne and Demario Douglas decent but even then those are #2-3 WRs on functional teams.

One thing the Patriots did today was get the ball to Stevenson out of the backfield. His best receiving game since week 1. I am not sure what Bill O'Brien has been doing where he hasn't been more of an option since then.

The Chiefs have next to nothing at WR outside of Kelce and somehow he goes for 12 catches for 179. When are the Chargers finally gonna pull the plug on Staley? Unfortunately the Chiefs are gonna be in the Super Bowl again. They look like they are better than last year.

Same story every year with the Chargers.

Staley sucks though. No reason Kelce should be having those types of games against anyone when he's their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd option.

He gave huge credit to the o-line. Idk maybe Scar gave them some magic dust before getting inducted in the Pats hall o fame. Because they held up. They gave Mac time.

The playcalling was much better. The RPO's work better for Mac. And the recievers did their job.

They are statistically the worst in the league. But today they showed up. I hope they show up going forward. Use this as momentum.

I thoroughly enjoyed myself today at the game. Great day all around with a great game, great tailgating and all-around great atmosphere.

Much better pass protection than we’ve seen all year. Maybe some of that was attributable to the Bills missing some players, but the blocking up front was the best it’s been so far. I also noticed far better play calling. I don’t recall seeing anywhere close to this much play-action, but I think it worked. There were some big plays especially to the right side, and not too many drops by the WRs.

On Defense, they did their best to get after Allen, but he is one slippery dude. I think something that might have helped the Defense might actually have been the three roughing the passer penalties called against them. Yes, that’s 45 yards lost, but I think it gave Allen something to think about, and he missed some big throws late when the pressure was on.

This could be somewhat of a turning point. When the Bills went ahead late in the 4th, I said to my friend, “all they have to do is get a touchdown. Period. No need to overcomplicate this.” And they got it. What a boost for Mac Jones, Bill Belichick and the Patriots. After one of the worst three-week stretches in Patriots History, to get a Fourth Quarter Comeback like this is amazing. I’ll never forget this game.

I saw the video of the Patriots as the game ended, and “jubilant” doesn’t describe it. They wanted it today.

This is still a very flawed team, but for one day, they were glorious.

Flawed team with an overrated head coach.

Lost to three mediocre/bad teams. Barely beat an awful Giants team when they got away with holding in the end zone on final play.

Only good win is against Miami.

I'd take at least 5 teams in the AFC over them currently.

I think they put too much on Allen, they never have a great running game they put the whole offense on his shoulders to run and pass. Maybe it’s too much for him to handle.

Seems like he was at his best with Daboll too.

100% agree on Daboll.

It's no surprise that their offense hasn't looked the same once he became the head coach of the Giants.

What's funny about the run game, is that Cook actually looks good, he certainly had a solid game against us today.

Bills are just toying. When you bring gambling to the masses wonky unexpected results will follow.

Maybe Buffalo will trade us Allen for Mac now? What do you have to add a first? Think they do it?

Cook did look good today, maybe they don’t have the patience to stick to the run long enough idk. Everytime I see him he’s running the ball more than anyone lol.

Jones hugging Strange after the touchdown might be the signature moment for this iteration, for better or worse. The nice thing about being a bad team is giving divisional opponents a fit, it was nice to embarrass the Bills.

Bills fans apparently took this one rough.
I have many friends from WNY and the Bills/Patriots rivalry has always been a big deal with them, especially with the hockey rivalry. The Celtics even had a developing rivalry with the Buffalo Braves until the Celtics owner traded the franchise traded franchises with Buffalo and the Braves became the Celtics in 1978/79. The original Celtics franchise in legal terms is the Clippers of today.

The Braves were as popular as the Sabres 50 years ago
