I bet this is how Cowboys fans felt in the last season(s) of Tom Landry.
I lived in Dallas at that time and that’s actually a really good analogue. However it took a change of ownership to finally remove Landry. Not sure if it would have happened when it did if Jerry Jones hadn’t bought the team.

The offensive line is a joke.
I can't even call it a joke anymore. Its just plain embarrassing. College teams have a better o-line than us. Bill refused to address it for 2 years. 2 f***ing years.

It's non-competitive. Trent just letting that guy go. No fight at all. It's just...mind blowing how this is going on.

I definitely did not see them losing to New Orleans, and definitely not like that.

Figured they’d win an ugly one 16-13 or something and claw their way back to .500 next week before the schedule stiffens.

Now there’s a real good chance you’re looking at 2-6 or even 1-7 after Buffalo and Miami.

The last time they didn’t play meaningful games in December must have been 2000, right?

My eyes tell me Bill has lost it both as a general manager and as the head coach.

However, I’m not 100% certain that Mac can’t play.

So if I have the keys to the kingdom, I blow Bill out, draft a quarterback, and pick up the option to bring Mac back as well.

Have whoever you draft sit for a year and hedge your bets.

Honestly this is how it all comes apart...we're there. Bob Kraft needs to get off his ass and do something. Fire Belichick. Trade Mac to Kyle Shanahan. This cannot continue.
Can’t see Robert pulling the plug mid year.

If Jonathan’s calling the shots, I think that’s a different conversation.

Not sure what ownership thought would happen. Hope that the issue was Patricia and Judge and That BoB would magically fix things?

The roster sucks top to bottom.
That’s on GM Bill.

And now Coach Bill can’t get them to make the smart plays and protect the ball. Special teams sucks too.

You’re right, Bill has to go.
And there’s no easy way out.

Nobody can take away the 6 Lombardis, but part of Kraft’s legacy becomes he let Brady walk and then had to fire Bill.

You look at this roster and there’s no light at the end of the tunnel.

Losing Judon and Gonzalez, you lose the one path you have to win ball games which is take care of the ball, live with punts on offense, run the ball, get the tight ends & play action game going, and force turnovers on D.

Anyone who is more than a casual fan of this team can see that Bill is why they’re losing. Bill is the reason Bill needs to be fired. Kraft’s hand will be forced and no intelligent fan will be able to blame him.

Besides Kendrick Bourne's first season, every wr and te the Patriots have brought in for Mac has regressed with him throwing them the ball. He's the cook who sends raw food out to customers on Hell's Kitchen in the cook tier list.

Ah yes, because Jonnu Smith was the answer!

Jacobi Meyers did very well with Mac. Hunter Henry was Mac's favorite target. I think he was targeted twice today. I thought we'd see the 2 TE sets like we used to do. Well we can't do that because our offensive line can't hold a fart before it turns into a shart.

This team is not talented enough. And nothing was addressed in terms of adding talent in the off-season. Nothing.

Speaking of running the ball. What the f*** happened to Rhamondre. He's awful. I know our line is awful but he looks really bad. He has no burst anymore. We don't even have a run game.

The gap between us and the Niners on offense is a canyon
The 9ers are stacked.

Gap between New England and Buffalo/Miami is monumental at this point.

You have middlers like the Browns, Colts, Titans, and they’re probably all better than you as well.

Teams like Denver are licking their chops thinking “We can actually beat that team.”

Nelson Agholor was a solid but not great wr for Vegas, he comes to the Patriots sucks, signs for Baltimore and within five weeks already has two games that would be top 5 for his two seasons with the Patriots. Jonnu smith isn't great but he sucked here, now he looks like a solid te again without Mac Jones throwing him the ball. Jakobi Meyers 2nd best career game came in his first with Vegas.

How many pass catchers have to be solid somewhere else, suck here and then leave and go back to being solid before the qb gets the blame? The patriots pass catching group isn't good but it's not like these guys are bums, they are just low end 2nd or 3rd pass catching options on better teams.

That's the issue though isn't it? They go and be 2nd or 3rd options somewhere else, but come here and have to be 1 or 2 options. We have a big problem with a lack of talent here. And it's been that way since Brady left.

That's on Bill

Seems like a strong QB year in the draft!

Like 2021? Lol

5 QBs taken in the first 15 picks. 4 are garbage.

Mac would be a decent qb if he spent more time paying attention during the game vs posting on hfboards during the game.
