Might have been. It's, funnily enough, a weakness in great anticipatory QBs. Bad receivers who run the wrong route.

Edit: nah, just a bad throw I think. Not sure what route would have carried the receiver right into the safety.

Not a bad bed, IMO. Darnold is taking forever to get rid of the ball, and there he keeps putting the ball in harms way out there. But he has some amazing receivers, one of the best O-lines in the game, a really good RB, and good arm talent. If he looks even decent the rest of the year, someone will overpay to get a mediocre QB next year.

The Jets are just thoroughly unimpressive offensively.
