I don't even think they care who wins, they just want a game that's not decided until the very end. So they make calls to force a close game. There's been a shift towards this for 15 years that most fans are apparently obvious to.
 
Nice way to cap off Sunday with one of the worst coaching decisions of the day. I only say “one of” because I didn’t see every other game and Staley’s ultimately didn’t lose the game for him.

That FG decision is indefensible.

Jesus...going from Carr to JimmyG legitimately feels like a major downgrade for the Raiders.

Adams body language says it all on the last few drives.

What’s up with the use of personnel? I mean a lot of 2 TE sets but mostly neither TE had their hand on the ground. He takes Renfrow out of most of the game.

Like he completely ignores what worked for Brady with Gronk and Welker/Edelman.

And their run game has been ineffective.

What happened to game planning for the opponent that he used to do in NE? Or are those only done cause they were BB’s orders?

Jimmy, has to use his check downs or throw the ball away. That second pick, you can’t defend that decision.

Pretty sure it's because Brady knew what worked and stuck with it, never letting his OCs get overzealous.

Time and time again it is shown how McDaniels can't coach. Don't know why he keeps getting chances.

He definitely is no Kyle Shanahan, who had to scheme his mind out to cover for Jimmy G's outside throw weakness.

McD is a coach who merely built a resume being around greatness, but not understanding a lick of what Brady was seeing.

The give him the job simply because he built up a huge resume thanks to Tom that they couldn't deny him a job once he decided to venture out of NE a second time.

Basically, it's well give you money because you were around Tom.
 
Not impressed with the usage of the personnel. You have to involve Renfrow and the TEs.

It’s a matchup situation. We’ve seen enough of Renfrow to know he can win in the slot.

Renfrow and Meyer need to be a part of the passing game, take away the heat form Adams and Jackobi.

Adams is putting up his numbers, great. Meyers has been great too but you can rely on those two all the time.

Not with a QB who doesn’t have the arm strength to stretch the field. Have to also attack the middle. Most of the catches made by the WR were them going towards the middle of the field.

At this rate I figure Renfrow is dealt at the TDL.

Also what have the Raiders gotten out of their most recent draft picks through 3 games?

Wilson, DE with the injury and losing most of training camp, he's going to be behind. And it has showed. Be patient with him, but they knew well in advance that due to the injury he wasn't going to be up to speed. The other clear option to draft was CB Gonzalez.

Mayer, LV traded up to get him and he's got 1 catch and a 1 2XP conversion. That's all.

Young, DT, have not really noticed him

Tucker, WR, 1 run for 34 yards vs Buffalo. No receptions.

Thank goodness Bennett at CB is playing. Traded up for O'Connell and he's not dressing as the QB2, that's Hoyer. IMO, any injury to Jimmy, AOC is under Center, not Hoyer.

For a team thin on talent due to the poor Gruden drafting, they needed to hit ala Seattle did in 2022.
Their top 2 picks in 2022 were Adams. Next is OG Parham and then 4th was White, RB.

This NE West regime hasn't had much contributions from their own draft picks so far through 20 regular season games.
 
hope this taylor swift kelsey fling ends fast so annoying cant even watch football game yesterday without the word swift or swifties mentioned every 10mins even this morning on the sports channel scores show.. NO one cares about taylor god damn swift jesus.
