So, in talking about the Lions game, I think our defense is going to play MUCH better. I don't think they'll be able to shut down the Lions, obviously, but I think they will be able get them off the field. I think the offense takes a step back to, unfortunately. Adding Coleman and Kincaid will help, I just think Allen isn't going to be stupidly hot for the rest of the season.

I'm predicting a bills win though. 27-24 with us kicking the field goal to seal the game as time runs out. Goff has multiple INTs and Allen has 1 in an otherwise solid game. This is a game that could easily run away either way though. If Buffalo's offense fails to get going early, this could become like the Ravens game. On the flip side, if Buffalo gets some early stops and their offense IS going, Detroit could become one dimensional and not be able to get back into the game.

I think it'll be a big statement win and probably the final nail securing Josh's MVP.

Also I hope the Browns do us a huge favor and put the 1 seed back into play.
If Rapp and Douglas can't go, I will be pleasantly surprised if they can hold the Lions offense below 30 points.

It all comes down to can the Bills DL have their best game of 2024 or not. If they have a game like last week, it is going to be a long day for the Bills defense. And I do not have a ton of confidence in the Bills DL right now.

Agreed. Allen needs a monster game or Goff needs one of his terrible off games for us to win this one. If Buffalo wins, then Allen is damn near guaranteed MVP.

One theory that makes sense is that the NFL would like to see every team play one game per year outside of the US and the Bills may work to have Toronto be that place for the Bills with half of the years being an "away" game for the Bills in Toronto.
Yeah, I think it's inevitable that all teams will play one game outside the US every year. I think it becomes a thing once the 18-game, 2-bye schedule is adopted. I think one of the byes will also somehow be incorporated into the foreign-country game (IE, the bye will either happen the week before a foreign game or the week after, depending on locale).

I could see the Bills/NFL kind of splitting Canada up some -- Buffalo gets Ontario/Quebec, Minnesota gets Saskatoon/Regina and Winnipeg and Seattle then gets Vancouver/Edmonton/Calgary

Bill's practice is cancelled this afternoon due to inclement weather and driving bans around the stadium. They are meeting virtually.

Yeah I know everyone hated the Toronto series, but even if it came down to losing a home game to Toronto every 2 years vs. losing a home game to London or Berlin or South America every 4-6 years, I feel like Toronto is vastly preferable. That becomes even more so if they're going to have to play one out of the country every year (and thus lose a home game every 2 years) regardless.

Yep. Or Ottawa or Montreal or Hamilton or whoever else in eastern Canada has the capability to host an NFL game.

That's not to say that Buffalo will NEVER go overseas......but I think the NFL would kind of like it if certain teams became the "default" team for foreign cities. Kind of like how London has sort of "adopted" the Jags since Jacksonville plays in London so much
