And suddenly I remember why I can't take the NFL seriously. Dallas gets served a God awful Giants team and it's front page news.

Well, to be fair, 3/4 analysts on ESPN picked the Giants to win, as did Colin Cowherd. Division matchups are never gimmes*, and Dallas’ defense completely dominated in a way you rarely see.

*unless your name is Dak Prescott, and you absolutely own the NFC East

With fewer and fewer teams playing starters in preseason and the stipulations put on practice, I think it’s increasingly likely we see more week 1s like this. Outside of a handful of teams it looked like an extra spicy preseason week.

Dak is just so much more recognizable, has a cool name, and is good-looking for the chicks.

I dont know anyone on Dallas D except for that Michael Persons pass rusher guy.
