I’ll be interested to see how the Texans handle having real expectations. It’s one thing to be the surprise darlings of a season, it’s another to navigate a season with legitimate championship aspirations. Not to mention, the schedule is much tougher this year. I think they look setup well obviously and would bet on them being right in that next tier of AFC teams but if they start off rocky I’ll be very interested to see how they respond.

I'm very interested to see Stroud and Love this year. An offseason of scouting for weaknesses from defensive coordinators now. Will they be able to keep it up?

Let's go! Great GDT ,GKJ.

My gambling addicted friend has requested that I put together a "good" bet for him tonight... Uh okay sure.

I’ll be interested to see if Baltimore runs the ball on like 70% of their early plays tonight. After hearing all offseason that the play calling doomed them maybe they try to make a point. Not really the way to traditionally beat the Chiefs but idk what to expect early on from the KC passing game either.

Love is especially interesting because, while he was lights out down the stretch, it was only a relatively small sample. At least Stroud was performing essentially the whole year.

It's always crazy how it seems so little time passes from Super Bowl Sunday to opening Thursday.
Post MLB All Star Break and August felt like eternities. It also sucked that I had covid for a good amount of it (Or at least Covid and then the impacts of Covid after).

This game not starting until 8:40 is insane, especially for those of us who have to work tomorrow
