From what I've seen, I'd start Capo before Schmidt. I may be in the minority, but I think he's the better defenseman. I believe he scored one tonight, and had another very hard slapper right on net. He has a very hard accurate shot.

Agreed there are a few players that I want to see be career Jets: The short list is Helly, Scheifele, Morrissey and Connor. Honorable mention Ehlers.

Pleasantly surprised by the victory. I thought without Dubois we were screwed.

But man this team still isn't very good at limiting numerous quality scoring chances from in close when defending a lead in the third. Really frustrating to watch and I doubt they get it sorted out by the playoffs...assuming we make it.

I think this guy Namestikov the Jets acquired is very good. He's fast and feisty, and he may be a long term keeper, for our bottom 6.
