Post-Game Talk: We suck - Leafs lose 4-1

Yea, very few tape to tape passes... that was one thing I noticed from the Canes... especially on the PP was tape to tape.

One other thing I bemoan about is how our players hold on to the puck for sooooo long and then try to make a play. We rarely every make the quick play... we always wait, then there are more guys in the play and less room to manouever. One of the few 'quick play' guys is Spezza... sometimes Nylander, but almost all the others hold on to the puck way too long for my liking.

Bunting and Kerfoot in the top six? Every player in the Leafs bottom six besides Spezza is either damaged goods or were never good. It’s just not a good roster. They could try their very hardest and it wouldn’t be good. 2019 was the best Leafs iteration and was probably only a piece or two away from a Cup, and it lost Anderson, Hyman, Kadri, Brown, Kapanen and Johnsson and has nothing in the lineup to show for it besides Kerfoot.

Yup, and this has been obvious for a couple of years. The bottom 6 basically skates around really accomplishing nothing.

How many players from the Leafs would Carolina want on their team given the amount they’re paid? I can only think of two. Matthews and Nylander and maybe not even them.

I would think the Rogers being in civil war will probably complicate any board-related moves at the moment.

Some of us have been trying to explain this to the rest of the fanbase for two years!

I can only wonder how much better this team could've been if we hadn't hired Kyle in the first place.

Keefe's system is holding the skill guys back. Up and down the wings, rinse and repeat. JT, you are also on thin ice. Start being a captain.

The ONLY reason for bringing back Babcock is if you want someone to harass and abuse this team because you hate them.

It won't lead to a better hockey team, but at least the players lives would be as miserable as they make ours.

I've read on here, a number of times actually, hockey is supposed to be entertaining.

Bringing Babs back would be entertaining.
