It annoyed me on so many levels and still does. Then the explanation of the trade came across as arrogant. Trade for the sake of making one and letting everyone know how smart you are.

3rd line C dilemma was literally solved, acquire superior player only to lose him in favour of protecting worse players. Insanity.

Well I really don’t think his level and skating dropped from when he signed.
To me, JT needs to get back to basics, he is at his most dominant when his lines can cycle and not by speed.

See I thought Saturday was a statement game after looking like arse at home Friday against SJ.

But then again I thought Game 7 against the Habs, Game 5 against the Jackets, and Game 6 against the B's (2019) were statement games as well.

It seems they don't care for statement games too much.

We are in trouble from what our coach is saying post-game. We played poorly and uninspired again and yet our coach is preaching about learning lessons, we shouldn't be learning lessons when you're suppose to be a "cup contender".

Call a spade a spade and say the team is dogshit and shouldn't be learning any "lessons" after 5 first round exits.

The league gets faster every year and he gets slower, I’m sorry to say he’s an average 2C and it will only get worse.

On a positive note, Leafs could be a bottom 3 team in the league by Thursday morning. Plight for Wright.

If coaches and managers meant nothing, why is Mourino, Klop are always on demand. I guess Scotty Bowman didn't do anything, he jsut let his team play, same with Al Arbour, John Cooper

Coaches job is to get team ready. Find flaws and work on them

Tonight's game was a prime example. There was no urgency, no fight back, no pushback. Same with any games Keefe coaches. Dude's way over his head. He doesn't belong in NHL

Our entire coaching staff is green. Name me one person who's been in NHL coach even as an assistant more than 5 years?

the point im making is how many teams do you know that have had to fire multiple coaches during a 2 year window due to a team "tuning them out"? i get it, its easier to fire one guy than 22 guys, but whos to say you dont get another coach and he has to be fired next year etc etc. maybe just hire a babysitter instead of a coach and pay them by the hour. the players on the ice have always been the issue, starting with tavares(which i hate to say cuz i geniunely think hes a good guy)

I feel for Keefe. Being the Maple Leafs brand, you can’t lose your sh*t in front of cameras or whatever but I am sure he is as pissoff as ever.
Players don’t seem to care about anything even their own personal stats. You get a sense that the players just want to make sure their own shift don’t get score on and that’s it.
