Good game!

All lines great except the second line. Copp has to anchor that line defensively. Hopefully they will work on it and get it fixed. Team seems pretty legit though, and the third line, hot damn.

Somewhere nice
We know where the 55 and 26 line going.

They will play huge minutes together.

2nd line will be down to 3rd line minutes.

Them split together forces Maurice to spread the mins between 2 lines.

Wheeler should not take heavy minutes anymore. He plays at his best with less minutes now.

Now if Scheifele cant play better without Wheeler then they havea big problem.

I am leaning on it's something else.

And it was just one of those day that Schiefele clicked and back to beast Scheifele.

They shouldnt be put togethet for long stretches anymore. See last year and early part this year...

This anarcho syndicate seems working pretty well, regardless of ever changing environmental backgrounds.

United as one even in a cases of occurrence of collective adversity, embracing a half of the world. Localistic ideas put to the practice and extended to the global frameworks.

What not to love. Gut feelings always transcend a locality.

If I ever get a grip back to this shit, Winnipeg is one of my destinations, not because I would think it will be the most glamourous travel destination imaginable, but because I know local people there cannot be composed entirely from a total arseholes. And if they are, I can myself adapt. Essential aspects of the mental landscape of the local chapter of the global syndicate, they're, something I can relate.

Go Jets Go!

What we've always been saying is true: reunite Ehlers-Scheifele-Wheeler -> Profit
Also I'm liking that Harkins-Roslovic-Appleton line, Roslovic looked great on that Appleton goal for example

:dunno: 4-8 now. My kid must be good luck.

My daughter's first NHL game. She's not a big hockey fan but since she's been out in Thunder Bay she's been watching games out there. Doesn't even fully understand the game to be honest but she's getting there. Key quote from her observations last night: "Hellebuyck should stay in his net and not go behind it". Like father, like daughter.

Her other observations:
Scheifele looks unhappy all the time.
Laine is bigger than she thought and can hit really hard.
Ehlers is fast. Like really fast.

Fun game to be at given how LA has all but given up on the season. Still some good talent there but not a great season for them. Certainly took us a while to get going.

Overview from far above (or below).

Jets need now really pull of and perform full a Cobra to get tactical initiative for the Playoffs. With some 75% success rate till the day of expiration, as Sopwith Camels cannot handle with Raptors and Sukhois in that aerospace.

Pessimist Tempest pilot (of 40 confirmed V1 kills, and 18 deceased squadron mates: due failed landing) in me struggle against the realist ME-262 ace (of 30 flying hours after a paper of approval from a glider school) with rocket armament.

I don't claim that it would be easy to do, but Jets airframe has the necessary minimum equipment and skill potential for it. Recency bias doesn't lodge this message on a LED screen of avionics console, and foo fighters doesn't mess my situational awareness either, currently.

Forget extra fuel tanks for extended range, stealth properties doesn't help either, but arm a craft better and aim more carefully in a near future, close range dog fights in a free flying rat races... but never forgetting the fact that your squadron will meet alone the entire 1st Air Fleet, do not matter what is a particular unit designation.

With your roster, Mr. Air marshal Maurice, and available airframes, it will be a fight against overwhelming odds regardless, if your depleted squadron somehow manage escort your obsolete bombers to a tour of duty of the strategic bombing missions....

FO, naturally born with sense of proper deflection.

Hopefully this shows Maurice the benefits of having a scoring top 9 and a shutdown 4th, rather than his usual top 6, shutdown 3rd, and useless 4th. I've been saying for awhile he should give Roslo some skilled wingers and shelter them so they can eat up the lesser competition.

I also just got home. Nice game!! Love the 2015 line.

The Laine to Harkins goal really go the crowd going. My buddy told me once that first goal went in it would be a storm... he wasn't off by much!
HARKINS!

And we are in the mix because Arizona, Calgary, Vancouver, Edmonton and LV are all approx the same as us which leaves the Wildcard race wide open as whoever drops down in the Pacific is in the mud with the Jets and Preds for the 2 playoff spots. This is most definitely not a year to give up on the playoff dream. We end up in the #1 WC spot we are just as likely as any of the Pacific teams to find themselves in the Conference finals.
I haven't looked at the remaining schedule yet, but what's the ratio of games between playoff teams and non-playoff teams?

I know I'm a Niku and Roslo fanboy with my biases, but man is it fun to watch those two pass. First two goals included great passes from Roslo and Niku had a breathtaking cross-zone pass to Ehlers on a PP I believe that I don't think Ehlers was expecting, similar to the one that he gave to Connor earlier in the season that Connor scored on. Players always have to be ready to receive a pass in the offensive zone when Niku's on the ice.

We have some very good passers on this team. It’s a treat to watch.

Helly lost his net a few times last night , not complaining but we will need better down the stretch . And Maurice should fine him every time he leaves the net to play the puck . ;) Nice passing tonight boys .

I haven't looked at the remaining schedule yet, but what's the ratio of games between playoff teams and non-playoff teams?

The three games before the TD have two out-of-the-hunt teams and a Flyers team 1 point in a playoff spot only by virtue of having played 1-2 more games than the crowd behind them. From then on, we have one against the Sabres and it's all playoff teams the rest of the way. Last game of the year is on the road in Arizona, this game could be for all the marbles.

The most important takeaway from this is to watch the Nylander pass to Matthew's for the one timer goal. Compare that pass velocity to what Pionk gives to Laine.

This is so easy to fix. Can a Jets coach just pull Pionk a side and tell him FFS?
They will figure it out eventually :thumbu: The takeaway for me on this is Toronto is worse defensively than we are .
