So, for all the **** our PP has gotten. Not only did it win this game, but we had 3 PP goals in this series. After a very disappointing series on the PK against Philly, the Pens with their #2 ranked PP and one that was good against Columbus were 1 for 20 on the PP this series. Great job PK.

Chris Kreider. Boom.

Does anyone know where to find the CBC interview MSL did? Heard it was very emotional and would like to see it but from what i can tell it's not on CBC's site

Don't know what amazes me more: that they came back from 3-1 down or that a NYR PP goal decided the series.

Still in shock.

First off, a lot of people were pessimistic and that we were cooked after game 4. They had all the reason to be, since this team hasn't come back to win a series down 3-1 in it's entire existence.

Secondly, a power play goal deciding the series? I didn't believe it. It's things like these that make me believe that this could be our year. I'm being very cautiously optimistic, as both Boston and Montreal would probably beat us in a seven game series, but it's really hard to not start to get a little excited.

As long as I've been alive, I haven't seen a Rangers team express this much character or resiliency.

I'm working tonight and couldn't watch the game. My phone exploded right when the clock hit zero. I'm not going to lie, I got moist eyed when I checked the score. If you've been following my posting history for any time at all, you'll know what eliminating those diving, cheap shot artist cowards means to me. This playoff series victory means as much if not more than beating any other rival, even the Devils.

Sending Crosby and Lemieux home scratching their heads wondering what the hell happened is absolutely priceless.

To be the best, you have to beat the best. I can't wait to see the Metropolitan Division Championship banner in the rafters, but I want the 2013-2014 Conference and Cup banners up there too.

Why not us?

Oh, no you're right, our PK is epic. Dom Moore was such a great signing. And Byrons gonna Byron.

I always mention this, but CK's ability to cause a ruckus was sorely missed.

Lots of bad puck luck against the Flyers on the PK and Simmonds. The PK stats looked really bad, but there had to be at least 4 goals that were a result of ****** luck.

I just realized something. The ghost of the Colombus Blue Jackets ended up coming back one more time to bite Pittsburgh in the ass. One last 3-1 lead blown! Except this one was a series lead instead of a game!

speaking as someone who was too young to fully experience '94, this has been one of the greatest victories I've witnessed being a Rangers fan. I'm on cloud-9 right now and lets just hope there's more to come.

It's a beautiful thing watching this franchise achieve success because lord knows us Ranger fans have been paying our dues for quite some time now.

Also would like to add that I broke up with my girlfriend today and got punched in the face in the process and all I could think about is this Ranger win and I've never been happier lol.

Fantastic comeback by the guys!

Now bring the boost from this into the next series against either Montreal or Boston, and take that too :D

Just finished waching :amazed:
Hank was nothing but amazing.
Richards, such a clutchy player, doing the dirt, scoring the goals, just love him right now! Boyle is a playoff warrior, might not have the smoothest hands, but most likely the biggest heart! Staal had another good game, the D was really good shutting Crosby down. And D. Moore, so good...the list goes on...

On to the next one!:handclap:

Hank was unreal. Seriously, unreal. That save when he had no stick and the puck deflected a foot off the ground off the stick in the crease was just plain stupid. No stick, ridiculous and crazy deflection to the hip on his side with no stick and he squeezes it. Just unreal.

Props to our two guys who truly step up in the playoffs, Boyle and Richards. Big game players.

Don't understate Kreider's importance. His speed and size are very important. Look at the GWG, he drove the net and took two Penguins with him, opening up all that ice in the middle. He adds an important element to this team even if he's not scoring.

Hopefully Nash realizes it's now or never. Let's hope he buries one early in game 1 and gets the monkey off his back. I do notice effort out of him, he's skating hard, playing solid defense and finishing checks, it's just his execution on offense that isn't there. Scoring an easy goal would be humongous for him and his confidence. If he can get going, we can go as far as any other team.

As long as Hank remains Hank.

And let's hope they recharge the batteries, but don't lose the edge. We don't want to see a let down after an emotional series like this, beating a team that was a favorite and going through such adversity, they'd be primed for a let down. Thankfully, I think the leaders in the room in Richards, MSL, Girardi, Staal, Hank they will have the guys ready to go.

Halfway there, LET'S GO!!
