PP is missing a guy who can punch a hole through the goalie with the force of his shot. This is the kind of game where Ovi would’ve had 12 shots on goal and turned the red light on late in the game.

Bummer for the road streak to end, but there’s a reason the all time record is 12, it’s hard to win that much on the road. This is a case where I feel like it’s good they play again tomorrow, gives you a chance to just put this bad effort in the rear view fast and try to get back to your winning ways.

I think Oettinger is just in the Caps heads, feel like the overpassing is a symptom of that.

Yeah, gotta shake this one off and play a better game tomorrow. Certainly should be able to do that against the Hawks.

We played fine tonight. Obviously, there's plenty to improve upon, but there's nothing embarrassing about how they played.

Tough game, but the Dallas Volunteer Firefighters played pretty well, especially on the PK.

Didn't do enough at 5v5 to overcome some atrocious special teams. It happens.

Miro was my player of the game and I would love to see him up with Dubois and Protas in Chicago. These chances are going to start falling for him soon.

Finishing was the only missing component I would say. If CMM or PLD bury their chances in tight, we’d be having a different conversation here.

Luckily for us, we still have the best finisher of all time in our backpocket. This team will be just fine

Caps carried the play for most of the game against a team with the best home record. PP sucked and/or their PK was great. Puck tipped off of Sandy's hand, Carly brainfart and that's it.
