Kid is on an absolute tear in the AHL. 8 points in 4 Games. Hat tricks and stuff. I lost track of this guy, but he really does look like a sure bet to play and play well. He was always a heralded prospect … makes sense.

He looked dangerous on occasion and made some nice feeds during his call up but seemed to be floating and not touching the puck a whole lot. Given it was as part of a pieced together 3rd line that has struggled all year. Hopefully he continues on this tear and sticks for good next time he's in WSH.

They also have Parascak and Mateiko. In defence, Fehervary and Chychrun could be there for a long time + Hutson and Muggli in the pipeline. Thompson is only 28.

I mean, half the playres in that lineup are already succeeding in the NHL. Leonard, Miro, I. Protas, and Cristall are the only ones I added. I don't see any fuutre in which Leonard is not a great NHL player. It's not that far fetched.
