Oh I think the Oilers will be a tough series. There’s no easy outs in the playoffs. But the Oilers and Canucks have both had pretty easy paths so far compared to the rest of the West.

I dunno, Colorado seemed to have it pretty easy when Winnipeg decided to not show up.

The Oilers:
Better top line talent
Faster all around
Firing on all cylinders
Rested
Lethal PP

The Canucks
Deeper middle 6
Better blue line
Better goaltending (when healthy)
Superior EV scoring

The question is will the Oilers have any significant production from anyone not named Hykan, Draisatl or Hyman/Kane? What happens when actually tested because LA was essentially Doughty and Byfield and that's it?

The question is, will the Canucks survive the onslaught the Oilers will throw at them via transition and PP offense with their goaltending and will Pettersson/Hronek even bother showing up when they've been MIA for the last 15 games of the regular season and so far in the playoffs?

Whatever the case. I think this series is a lot more up in the air than people and "fans" will admit and we hockey fans are in for a real treat. Vancouver or Edmonton vs Colorado for a WCF will be even better!!
