Thank GOD this series is happening. Nashville was so awful. Some of the worst hockey I’ve seen since the dead puck era. Time for real hockey.

I disagree. Just like VCR vs NYI long ago. The Preds played smart aggravating hockey against a better team and made it a real battle. And I will give them (some, at least a little) credit for not taking cheap shots late.

Game 3 - Saturday, May 11th
Game 4 - Monday, May 13th

Game 5 - Thursday, May 16th
Game 6 - Saturday, May 18th
Game 7 - Monday, May 20th

HNIC is going to watch those Saturdays for an All-Canadian matchup. And Sunday won't work for Game 1 because Pearl Jam has two shows at the Arena tomorrow and Monday, they're not going to tear everything down and then rebuild it to squeeze in Game 1 on Sunday. Thanks Eddie and Co.!

Canucks will have to be disciplined to have a chance in this series. Even if the Canucks manage to be the better team 5 on 5, the Oilers will score at least 1 PP goal a game. And the Canucks aren't producing enough offense presently to overcome that.

I really hope Tocchet shakes up the lines before game 1. As others have suggested this would probably be best:

Pettersson-Lindholm-Hoglander
Joshua-Blueger-Garland
PDG-Lafferty-Mikheyev

Also should be the end of the sub-20 shot games. Will be a very different series with the Oilers, so I'm a little nervous for Silovs. Hyman and Draisaitl had as many goals as the entire Canucks team through 5.
