I can already see our fans wont be taking it easy on the trash talk on the main board...

I watched quite a bit of the oilers kings series, outside colorado edmonton looked like the 2nd best team, I refuse to live in fantasy land. If vc looses be prepared to swallow the trash talk. I would just enjoy the ride and hope vc can pull the rabbit out of a hat. Game 4 kings played amazing finally, and oilers kind of just shut the door and played well defensively. They are not a one line team and offensively seem to have a much better system and pp.

I don't understand why EDM are the overwhelming favs. Vancouver dominated them during the reg season. EDM fans are in for a rude awakening. This Canucks team is deep and plays a great system.

Winnipeg obliterated Colorado 7-0 to sweep their series 17-4. We see how far that got them.

Edmonton went on a 16 game winning streak after shaking off our breaking them whereas we've skidded near the end. It's an entirely different series at this point. Edmonton has all the pressure in the world to actually accomplish something in the same way the Leafs do. Granted, they've at least gotten to the WCF once and the second round several times but the expectations are enormous when you have two of the best players in the game.

We're not completely outmatched by any means but the Oilers should beat us... on paper.

Hey, I didn't say they weren't a good team. I just don't see them as this runaway fav like some people. They are beatable and Vancouver is more than capable of doing it. I like our chances. We play a better system and have better team defence.

All of the pressure is on Edmonton.

They hype of McDavid and Drai. The decade of high end picks. They’re supposed and should be superior in every way.

If the Canucks win then it’s the end of this Oilers core after next year.

Canucks have zero pressure.

I mean we were the ones that sent them down to that downward spiral
I must be the only one who holds absolutely no weight to two games in October but hey, I’d love for those same Oilers to show up

I pray we don't have to listen to the Oilers Play by Play. I don't know his name, but he is not good.

I am concerned about Vancouvers offense but I think Edmonton is getting overrated here.
Their defense is just not very impressive and Skinner is prone to meltdowns. The main worry will be taking too many penalties as their PP is deadly. If we can mostly stay out of the box I think it goes 7 games.

Nurse Bouchard Ceci and Desharnais are all susceptible to some brutal defensive plays. Not to mention Skinner lol.

Just abuse the hell out of McDavid and target him like the Preds did with Hughes.

I also have full confidence in Silovs.
It’s not just McDavid though Draisitl and RNH as well. Kane is also a pretty good playoff performer. Perry being Perry as well.

Him and DeBrusk are both oilers fans so that’s gonna be brutal.

Might have to watch ESPN lol
