I'm not complaining about reffing but they all ran quick, elbowed, and crosschecked our goalie, and lewis goes in and he gets a penalty.

I know it's tempting to play guys like Pearson when you need a boost, but this is why you don't. That fourth line was useless. I don't really understand why DS ****ed around with the lineup after a win, but one of our strengths is being able to put out that fourth line and third pairing late in games, which couldn't be done tonight.

to me the Regher penalty was a bad call. Went back and it looks like the Shark player while bent over uses his elbow to catch Regher's stick and then stands up.
Oh well next game
Saw a stat earlier today. Sharks are 6-1 in game three when losing the first two of a series. They are 0-7 in actually winning the series

Still undeafeated with Martinez in the game.

He was looking for Energy, the Fourth line hasn't been that good all season.

Sutter just tried to get something going, not a big deal. He will probably go to a vet or Nolan in game four.

Pearson was nervous as hell.

It's safe to say DS screwed the pooch with his line up.

And for the love of god sit king. Bring up Clifford sit king. Holy crap he's useless

There were points when the Kings looked strong but for most of the game the Sharks were buzzing all over them. They seriously need to knock it off with these slow starts.

I still don't agree with those calls at the end. If your going to let them play than don't suddenly change your mind with 5 minutes to go. Brown's penalty was automatic, but the Regher hooking was a joke after what had gone on tonight. Then Lewis getting steered into the goalie was just ******** too. I'm certainly not gonna blame the refs and yell conspiracy but just be consistent with the calls. And stop letting them take pot shots at our goalie.

The bottom line is that Quick had to stop around 40 shots tonight and our chances weren't nearly as good. The first line has got to step up. There hasn't been one game where I thought they dominated the play during these playoffs and that is just unacceptable. They need to rest and come out on Tuesday ready to roast them. Start playing like the ******* defending champs. Enough of these one goal games and hanging on by a thread all game. You are better than this team. Time to step up and prove it.

This is the truth in a nut shell.

Sutter can't be happy with that effort and penalties. Wonder if he will keep them in SJ instead of flying back to la. They don't deserve to sleep in their own beds.

Agree. Keep them up there. Punish them. Effort just wasn't there tonight.

A waste of three hours of TV watching for me.

Maybe coming home, collecting themselves and having off the next two days will refresh these guys and they come out strong for Game 4. The best scenario we could ask for was a 1-1 split, and there's a chance to do that. Despite them not playing very well, they still only allowed one goal in 60 minutes and both Sharks goals were scored on the PP. can't emphasize enough how they have to stay out of the box.

I'll go ahead and say it, not only does it suck that we lost, but I thought that game was boring as hell

Historical stats mean nothing.

I agree the line wasn't any good but Pearson did look very good for a rookie in his first game that is also a playoff game. I like his game and he looked like he can play in the NHL.

What DS has me questioning is the Ellerby/Muzzin pairing and then Ellerby being out on the ice in OT during a playoff game. It was his mistake that allowed that pile of Shark excrement to score the game winning goal. He leaves the man in the slot open in favor of watching the guy along the boards.

I still don't get DS' pairing two kids. Ellerby had an alright game and Muzzin did too but that mistake is what rookies make and to have them out there in OT under those circumstances is crazy.

Exactly. I said it earlier, the Sharks live and die with the power play.

It sure seems like we've given up a lot of goals this year right after killing off a penalty.

Oh well, it was to be expected once we went down 5-3. Three dumb penalties in the last 5 minutes of a tied playoff game will tend to kill you, and tonight, it did.

Also, you're not going to win many when your only goal comes from a rookie. Earth to Kopitar, Brown and Williams, where the heck are you???

Moving on to game 4...

WTF can we do with the Sharks' pressure? We are getting outshot 106-78. I repeat, 106-78!!! And there was only one period in which we outshot them. That was the 3rd in Game 2 where we were really desperate. We are letting these ****ers dictate every game. Plain and simple.

Sharks only scored on the power play. How pathetic of a team are they. Shoot out team/pp team.

I think DS needs a talking to about his affinity to take A Mart out of the game in favor of Ellerby. It isn't fair to either of them.

Guys A-Mart deserved that Bench, he was on the ice For three even strength goals against in a single game.

You can complain about Ellerby all you want Muzzin too, But both of those guys have not had an even strength game that bad.

The Kings did not give up an Even strength goal tonight....

Isn't Clifford injured?

And I need a shock collar that goes off any time I wander to the main boards to talk about the game. Good lord...
