Kings were in a tough spot defensively. Started with Scuds and Doughty and RR was in the box. I wish they would have kept DD and Scuds out there for a little bit longer rather than going to Ellerby and Voynov.

That's a situation where the Kings really really miss Matt Greene.

Yeah! and Regher is less than impressive. I almost trusted MUZZIN more than him tonight and I NEVER trust muzzin!
Seriously, Regher is not a great defenseman. He's Matt Greene, but slightly older. His first passes are not strong enough to be on the top pairing, and his inability to pass the puck allowed San Jose to keep the puck in the zone, which led to him taking that penalty.

Kings didn't play well enough to win that game, but Lewis blew any chance of doing so by running into Niemi like a moron. Oh well.

Glass half full. We are still up 2-1 and have not yet played our best. Just pisses me off how it ended tonight because it was there for the taking. We'll get them on Tuesday.

We stole Game 2 so losing this one is okay, win the next game and never take the foot off the gas!

On to the next game, I know Game three was a throw away.

No way sharks were going down 3-0. They played the game of their lives, and only won 2-1. Also needed the Kings to take three PK's to end the game.

So Kings are in good shape. Win game four, Series over.

They in no way played the games of their lives, they had 22 turnovers are were quite sloppy

Even after the kings won the first two games, sure didn't feel like they were playing well.

Wonder how many more times we get to hear about how they need to play better before they actually do?

No Mitchell and no Greene = Voynov and ellerby killing penalties.
Seriously. Ellerby was out killing the 5-3. If that's the case, then one's chances overall cannot be good.

Oh well. Can't expect to play like crap and win every game. Pearson was too nervous in his first game. That pretty much rendered him useless and whamo the Kings were down to just 3 capable lines.

One thing that bothered me the most, is how quick got nothing when they bumped him tons the whole game. Reffing was okay it's just quick got hit a lot.

I don't think the sharks played better i think they got away with a lot and that's how they won.

We're up in the Series and i hope the Kings get some good rest because they can come out hard and take away the Sharks home next game.

That's baloney.

The Sharks kicked the Kings ass during the whole period, I'd love to see the zone time stats. The Kings spent about two minutes in their zone the entire third period.

San Jose won because they were the better team.

I'm getting sick of this "We haven't played our best yet" line, not so much from fans so I'm not picking at you in particular, but from the players. We've heard it from them consistently this playoffs. Why the hell not? What are they waiting for? With a few exceptions, I'm just not seeing the hunger and intensity that we saw last year.

After the 4th loss of a series: "We just have to play better." Uh, yeah.

We were hearing that too last season. "We haven't played our best game yet." Well, with this defensive lineup, I don't think that "game" is out there. We have what we have, and in some instances we are fortunate to be 6-3 so far this playoff season.

Plus, this is a very different playoff year from last year. So far, we are 1-3 on the road and are 1-2 in overtime games (all on the road).

So can we now talk about how filthy a team the sharks truly are from top to bottom?

F those guys.

They run and hit Quick all night, nothing one of our players gets taken down while driving the net. Call.

Brown gets crosschecked from behind three times during the same play and one of them puts his head into the boards drawing blood. Two minutes.

Bunch of crap. It will be fun taking the next two games from this garbage from a city by a city by a body of water.

F the SHARKS.

Dirty ref assisted win. If you can't beat us I guess just play dirty and hope you get away with it. I don't sour grapes too often but tonights game was pure crap.

Tanner Pearson looked good out there. Tough spot to get your feet wet in the NHL but he looked pretty good for his first game.

Suter needs to explain to everyone why in the name of Jebus Ellerby and Muzzin were paired together or why Ellerby was out there on the PK in OT during the playoffs too. It was his mistake that left Couture open for a clean shot that ended up in the net.

The guy along the boards doesn't need your full attention but the guy in front of the net all alone? THAT IS YOUR MAN.

Oh well, the next two are ours.

GO KINGS GO!!!!

RISE ABOVE!!!!

GUT THESE GUPPIES!!!!

I can't believe nobody talked about Logan Coture's slide down the ice, followed by the pelvis thrust T-bag motion and just went straight to the locker without an interview. Quick was pissed at him.

This ^ like I said anyone that thinks the Sharks were just going to lose that game....Well it wasn't happening.

The Kings would have needed a incredible effort, and would needed to score more than One Goal.

Our top line needs to fricken show up. Not gonna win the series without those three. Just baffled by those three.

This is the truth in a nut shell.

Sutter can't be happy with that effort and penalties. Wonder if he will keep them in SJ instead of flying back to la. They don't deserve to sleep in their own beds.

This is going to be a bumpy ride if we make a run this spring.

Mitchell is gone, Greene is gone and Martinez has ceased to be a good player. That is half our defense.

I'd be shocked if Kopi's not playing hurt. He's just standing and reaching.

Goes to show how important he is to the team's 200 feet game. Whenever there's a need for puck possession and composure, Kopi takes a shift, holds onto the puck and makes a play. Now we don't have that stabilizer and the team (whose supposed to be a puck possession team) is just helpless out there.

Stoll being out hurts too since his line was our best this playoffs. And Mitchell and Greene and Clifford... How are we even still in this thing?

Seriously, Regher is not a great defenseman. He's Matt Greene, but slightly older. His first passes are not strong enough to be on the top pairing, and his inability to pass the puck allowed San Jose to keep the puck in the zone, which led to him taking that penalty.

Yay im not alone in thinking this then.
