I'll be surprised if Richardson gets any defensive zone draws at all. It's going to be a steady diet of Richards and Kopitar taking draws from here on out.

I can understand that school of thought. I just think that Burt is more than a "goon" is all. He doesn't even really fight.
Bert's punch on Moore was disgusting no doubt. However IMO there is no way that I or anybody else can tell the effect of everyone piling onto the back of Burt and putting pressure on Moore had on the seriousness of the injury.
I feel for Moore I really do.
Anyway how about them kings!!
 
Fingers crossed hard that I'll be able to watch the game. No local feed and if the android app decides to give me troubles yet again, I'm stuffed.

4 hour nap then it's go time! Can't wait!

I'm a little resentful that they've gotten better as a result of this incident.

Stoll is a huge loss for our team. I'd argue Torres ISNT for theirs, despite what they're saying, because his running around like a drunk clown is what allowed us to score. In addition, now they're forced to load up their top-6 with Pavelski, which has traditionally given us a lot of trouble.

I mean, maybe we play better without the fear of an axe murderer out there, but I guess you could say Torres did what they brought him in for--a series-changing physical element.

It disgusts me that they're defending him.
 
GWS Stoll!!! With Clifford and Stoll out we really need our top lines to step up and start putting points on the board. Why not Kopitar for the Selke? Go Kings!!!
 
You know I really dislike that you guys are on a different time zone cause I have a drink way too early and it's all worn off by the time 10 PM rolls around. Please do something about this. TIA.

I'm hoping to see hockey karma kick in tonight and some bounces go our way. We'll be missing #28, but I think each player is very aware of that and may kick their game up a bit. I'm feeling good about a strong, message sending game tonight.

I've always believed in this team, and am loving all the reasons they are giving me to do so lately. Sutter's a great coach, we've got a deep, talented set of players out there. As last year, the Kings are a "get us in and we'll make some noise" team this post season. As a die hard fan I'm excited to see what they do with that this year.

And tonight's another step on that road. Looking forward to seeing our boys play tonight.

hoping the Kings come out hitting the Sharks hard. The Sharks cannot match the Kings in hard hitting. It would be nice to have Clifford in there.

- Richardson is geared to step it up. Hopefully, Stoll is back soon though.

That's a bit of an overreaction, when at home while they still have the ability to match Kopitar/Richards against Couture/Thornton most of the time (except for icing, etc), they should be fine. Now on the road, when we're gonna see a lot of the Kings bottom six against their top six, that's a different story, and I agree, it could get ugly.

It would be nice, because we need him...but I think the guy will be out for a long time.

You know what's really stupid? The guy who hit him is supposedly his friend. What a joke that is to hit your friend in the head.
