Shhhhh, people will question you being at a game and posting here :sarcasm:
I'm in line for booze. I'm about to break my wallet to make me drunk enough to stomach this.

I mean, yeah, sure. But at this point you have to admit that McDavid benefits greatly from the same thing as well playing with Draisaitl. No Draisaitl out there, McDavid doesn't score at the rate he is right now.
McDavid is in a Teri of his own. He would fare a lot better without Draisaitl than Draisaitl would fare without him. McDavid is still a force out there, and that opens up a lot space for his teammates.

A lot of attention is put on McDavid by the opposition. No McDavid out there, then Draisaitl would not score at the rate he is right now.
I don't disagree but they are beneficial to each other, I just want McDavid to win a Cup whether he gets an individual trophy along with it is beside the point for me although you know there will unfortunately be people who use it as a lazy narrative against him.

As someone else said Gretzky didn't win the Smythe every time and in today’s age there's no guarantee you're going to get as many chances for a Smythe as he did.

I picked a real f***ing swell first VGK playoff game to go to. If we don't at least make it close I'm setting this playoff towel on fire.

Worst effort since Game 1 Series 1. You'd think after that horror show of a game they'd get that out of their system but here we are. They laid an egg against the best offense in the league.
Just throw in the towel.... the team has.

Quote" With teams averaging 3.17 goals per game, scoring is at its highest point in the last 29 years (3.24 in 1993-94). Rosters are trending younger. Bottom-six slots that once were commonly filled by veteran, checking-line forwards are now being used to groom younger, skilled players. On the blue line, teams are searching for the next great offensive defensemen while stay-at-home defensive anchors are becoming less common.

Leon is a fast skater, exceptional puck protector, exceptional hockey sense, exceptional shooter, exceptional passer. His acceleration isn't AAA but he's elite at everything else.
Plus speed doesn’t mean anything in todays NHL

Lol, he a well above average skater at this point. Not sure what people are watching anymore
I’m not sure about that. I’d say he probably average at the NHL and lacks great acceleration. He looks rather slow at times.

The biggest boon to Leon’s production is McDavid’s zone entry ability and Leon’s ability to be completely unnoticed in the offensive zone while McDavid draws all the attention to him.

McDavid is mostly always getting matched by the best def center + best defender in both series so far. That leaves Drai with the secondary matchups and much more space.
