Going to my first playoff game tonight, pray 4 me

He was still the second best goalie on the ice in 5 straight elimination games for the Leafs. In case that bears repeating, he lost the games. Campbell can't handle pressure. There's a very good reason we wanted him bought out halfway through the season.let me know how you feel when Skinner lets in his usual 3 goals minimum tonight
he let in less goals in the Leafs last 2 losses to TB than Skinner did in his last 2 wins to LA....
With that logic, Skinner is losing us this series. Skinner starts and we need at least 9 to win. He simply wilts under pressure. But he didn't cost them the game. And even if he lost the game they still had game 7 to fall back on. If you're going to yank a goalie after every loss you're not going to build any confidence. Campbell went in last game and he gave the Oilers zero confidence in his playing ability. Went into a damn coma for the rest of the game.

Well, he probably had the best scoring chance on Adin Hill last game so he's definitely not producing offensively. With that logic, Skinner is losing us this series.
so despite letting in less goals than Skinner, he can't handle the pressure? is he supposed to score goals too?He was still the second best goalie on the ice in 5 straight elimination games for the Leafs. Again, he lost the games. He was the second best goalie on the ice. Would you rather win and give up 4 goals or lose and give up 3?so despite letting in less goals than Skinner, he can't handle the pressure? is he supposed to score goals too?
Skinner won those games cause the Oilers scored 6 goals and 5 goals in Game 6 and 7![]()
Nashville is further south, so I'd give it to them, but yeah.Washington is about as far south where they care about hockey. That town is hockey crazy, trust me. Everywhere else, they're fair weather fans who only care if the team is doing well.
The problem is his 1 game was an outlier. He has a .888 and a -2 GSAE over the playoffs....thats not one game skewing the stats.Again, he lost the games. He was the second best goalie on the ice. Would you rather win and give up 4 goals or lose and give up 3?
I mean you talk about "what have you done for me lately", Skinner was fantastic in game 2 and suddenly that's all gone because the Oilers played their worst game of the season in game 3 where Skinner would've had to pitch a shutout and stop... what, 17 grade A chances for them to win? He's not Hasek.
oh so now "only winning matters"?Again, he lost the games. He was the second best goalie on the ice. Would you rather win and give up 4 goals or lose and give up 3?
he let in some bad goals IMO...defense didn't do him any favours but he got beat bad glove-side and didn't make big savesI mean you talk about "what have you done for me lately", Skinner was fantastic in game 2 and suddenly that's all gone because the Oilers played their worst game of the season in game 3 where Skinner would've had to pitch a shutout and stop... what, 17 grade A chances for them to win? Now that's something that all Oilers fans can agree with.Well look at that they were the Hartford Whalers...my bad...nonetheless I still don't want them winning another Cup.

Giving up already? That’s pretty pathetic. The Avs were clearly the best team in the NHL last year.Im getting Avs vibes from last year, this feeling that were overmatched and its coming to an end soon
Close enough but no specific risk here outside of maybe neighborhoods next to a ravine or edge of city or something. Virtually no smoke here, and we have had some rains through province, not sure how much its helping. Heat wave went away fro a few days as well.I see u guys in Alberta are in middle of a heat wave and forest fires. How close are fires to Edmonton now? All the best to the people in these areas.
Not giving up, just dont have a good feeling about it. We don't have a goalie who can post a .900 save percentage and our defense only shows up once every 3 games.Giving up already? That’s pretty pathetic. The Avs were clearly the best team in the NHL last year.
I think you’re over thinking it. Lots of random blow outs this round. Not giving up, just dont have a good feeling about it. We don't have a goalie who can post a .900 save percentage and our defense only shows up once every 3 games.
Ooh first ever? Enjoy! If the Oilers show up you will have the time of your life.Going to my first playoff game tonight, pray 4 me![]()
