It was the Sharks and Blues... Two teams known for choking.

I guess some people are blinded by history too, whatever helps you sleep at night.

Come on man. The Kings still had to win those games. They've had an incredible run and will continue next year with a minor re-tool this offseason.

Two teams that were favorites for the cup before the playoffs began the past 2 years? Interesting, but I'll continue to be blinded by history of the past 2 seasons (which is written in stone) while you continue to be blinded by your negativity (which is relative).

Tell me this, did St. Louis out play us last year in the playoffs? How about the sharks? Be honest now I can't be the only one who remembers the CPR line.

Kings need a big retool, not a small one.

Greene would lose a one on one battle with a goose.

Also, Silfverberg is officially in the top five of my most punchable faces. Keeping Marchand and Thornton company.

Muzzins hockey iq is funny.prime example dance into the zone with time winding down, shoot right? Nah, pass into ducks skate they clear period over.good things happen by throwing pucks at the net muzz.

Ive been one of Richards biggest supporters but he looks finished. Brown doesnt look good either but I still have hope for him next season.

Brown at least looks like he can wake up when he wants to. I thought he had a great second and third period in game 4. Seems to be a motivational issue. Maybe his latest kid is a troublemaker or his wife is divorcing him. Who knows.

Richards, on the other hand, couldn't score an ounce in Santa Ana with $10,000.00. The guy is done.

And we got outplayed by both of them, Sharks are always choking so surprise you're holding on to that.

The Blues were better this year, and they choked.

Maybe you need to actually look at how we performed those series rather than the scores. If I had to guess you were probably just looking at the box score after every game saying "oh we outplayed them".

There's nothing wrong with being negative and realistic. Heck you're only on these boards when the Kings are doing bad, it's pretty cute.

RP,

The Kings need more than a minor re-tool to be a cup contender.

The Kings lack of mobility all over the roster is being exposed for a second straight year.

I think a #2 center, a #2 d-man and another third pairing defenseman is a bit more than a minor re-tool, and that doesn't even mention the bottom six which needs some fresh new blood, I had been a fan of King but he has been terrible for awhile now, obviously they can't pay almost $6 mill for a 4th line center, Clifford should never play another game for this team.

So I agree, there are some nice pieces in key positions, the Kings have their franchise goalie, defenseman and center and two really good wingers in Gaborik and Carter and some nice young ones in TP and TT. But I think it's more than a minor re-tool.

Like I've been saying almost all year, what Dean does with those two albatross contracts will tell us a lot about the long term expectations of this team, if he is to stubborn to get rid of atleast one of them this team is going to be financially challenged to compete

He doesn't think out there. You can tell from the blank stare and gaze on his face that he has rocks for brains.

Losing to Chicago is now a choke?

I'll make sure to be on here for every single game from now on to satisfy you. I'll take results over performance any day of the week, are we the Canucks? Moral victories cause we worked hard, so it's okay?

Yup, exactly.

Headlines:

Blah Blah Blah shut the **** up. jezzzz

Can we please just have Bob and Jim back.

Matchups aren't even close: Getz outplaying Kopi, Perry over Gabb, SmithPel over Brown, Gibson over Quick, Maroon over Williams, Fowler over Doughty, choose anybody over Richie...on and on. Oh even Big Bruce takin it to Daryl

We've needed at least two defenseman since the season started (we all knew Greene and Mitchell would be gone) and I think Carter should be the #2C. I've also said we needed to retool the bottom six with at least two new players. Perhaps minor wasn't the best word, but that was posted in haste.
