If they can get average from Georgiev or Annunen, Avs in 5 or 6. If they can't get average goaltending, I'd bet Jets in 6 or 7.

Very Devils v Rangers 2023 esque, Devils had the shit goaltender but probably better/faster roster like Colorado, Rangers had a top 3 goalie and slower roster similar to the Jets

Think I'm gonna lean with the Jets because I don't trust Georgiev at all but I 100% agree with your assessment on the series

And they have a 9-14 record on the road. Numbers are close to the point where it's a non story. Getting swept or exiting in 5 is going to make both sides look bad.

Hellebuyck and home ice has me leaning Jets. A lot is being made Georgiev's game and he's been poor no doubt but, in my viewing the Avs as a team just haven't been defending well and their D wilts against a good heavy forechecking team which the Jets are. With all that being said though the Avs have the 3 best players between the two teams. Should be a great long series.

I think it'll be close, homer vote went to the Jets. If we can make it through the Avs I like our chances the rest of the way. They're a hell of a team.

Let’s talk about when the Jets beat them 6-2 earlier this year. Still too recent? Ok how about when the Jets beat them 4-2 before that.

If the Jets manages to stay within their system and play as good of a team defense as they've showed during various points of the regular season I think they will win this series. But MacKinnon has proved that he can go psycho-mode before and Hellebuyck have looked pedestrian over the last month, so I would never count out the Avalanche.

This season Colorado has either looked dominant or terrible (sorry). I think the jets are a little more consistent and should eke it out in 6 or 7.
