Monday is going to be a gong show and it is going to be amazing.

I hope it is low attendance and the boo's come out early.

Fletcher needs to go, and we need a sweep to make that happen. Don't let me down boys!

Wild fell off a cliff and lost like 13 straight, Yeo got fired, Torch took over, team has alternated winning and losing streaks since then, but seems to have fallen off a cliff again just in time for the playoffs.

Definitely has no coherence at the moment, game two was embarrassing (didn't watch first one thank god). I don't recall seeing such a lame effortless Wild team ever and I've watched their postseason since 2007. What the hell is wrong? It's like they already gave up.

I'm still trying to figure out why Prosser is playing. There was a guy who said "thx refs" for losing the game. Where is the accountability for Prosser going in so deep in the offensive zone for a half ass shot that led to that play going back the other way? This was your GWG, not the odd ass goal. That man has no business being a NHL player. Period.

I would be happy with everybody traded.
Okay, let's keep Scandy, Dumba, Reilly and maybe Brodin rather than selling them low.
And Coyle, Haula, Koivu (no trade value) and maybe Nino.

Just want to respond to a few posts on the last page in the GDT that was closed. No, this team doesn't owe me anything. But I can't be all sunshine and rainbows when they are in a downward spiral with no light at the end of the tunnel. Does that make me a bad fan or less of a fan? Hell no! It's like Torchetti or Parise getting upset that the media was creating a negative vibe about how the season ended. That negative vibe was because there was damn good reason for concern. Is Russo suppose to just ignore the glaring issues and write happy thoughts? No. It doesn't work that way. And it turns out, he was right on the money. This team should be mature enough where, "We're just happy to be here" shouldn't be good enough for them anymore.

We're in a dark place right now, and I'm frustrated as hell. But I'm not going anywhere. I've been through 10 times this kind of @#$! with the Vikings. If anything, they've prepared me for this kind of disappointment.

But I bleed Christmas colors and always will. Don't question my fan card due to some tough love.

What this man said. No one on this board should be questioning anyone's loyalty to the team as a fan goes. They look like ass. If you can't accept that fact and let people vent about it as fans, then you probably shouldn't be on this board right now.

I thought he was going to start swearing at him :popcorn:
That's what we need. We need a blow up. Or an equipment truck fire again. Something to shake this crew up and entertain us. I want to see the vets and kids finally throw it down at practice. My money is on Scandy as the last man standing in that brawl. :yo:

I'll question anyone's loyalty when posts are made like one above actively wanting the team to lose in the hopes that maybe changes will be made. That's not loyalty.
All I'm saying is this place has been WAY more depressing than the play of the team could ever be. And if people can vent their displeasure at poor play, then I can vent about what I see as a disgusting fan attitude.

Game one was worse. Be thankful you didn't see it.

Funny thing, owner at the bar I go to asked me what I thought the scores would be (and I kid you not on this):

Game 1: 3-0 (4-0 was real score)
Game 2: 3-2 (3-1 was real score)
Game 3: 3-2 (Wild win)
Game 4: 4-2 (Stars win)
Game 5: 5-1 (Stars win)

See how this goes...

Never called one person out on this. I was making a simple generalize comment about it. And lord knows I don't want them to lose, albeit I don't exactly like being embarrassed on television to friends in different markets who are winning :biglaugh:

If you can make a trade that improves the team you make the trade.none of those guys should be untouchable.Waiting for a players trade value to go up is risky because that might never happen. The Wild could have moved Zucker or Granlund a year or two ago and gotten a whole lot more than they will get now.

Exactly. Zucker will be Las Vegas bait for the expansion team regardless. That LV team will want him because he's a hometown kid and Granlund will go out east where he doesn't have to fear being hit nearly as much. Wild need size. Many have been saying that for years.

If it's for the betterment of the team, then I'm all for it. Questioning anyone's loyalty is a petty move (unless it's that one poster in particular who only posts on the main boards who I think we all know isn't actually a Wild fan).

If I truly wanted them to lose, do you think I'd be this ticked off? I'd be doing something else right now and not wasting my time here. I wouldn't be chewing Granlund's head off.

Size without skill means nothing and both in high skill players is generally hard to find. Both Zucker and Granlund are basically the same size as Kane. Size isn't the detriment most think it is if you have the skill.
They look afraid and I don't know why. But more of it seems to be a confidence in their skills issue than an issue of needing more size.

What does he mean by the word "keep"? That illegal goal was scored at the end of a shift....a shift which started with them avoiding Roussel at all costs.

Disagree. This team lost 5 games in a row going into the playoffs with many chances to clinch themselves against mostly non playoff teams, and got in because another team couldn't win in that span. Now the playoff comes and they still look like the same ****** team. The team is at the very least equally depressing
