Great game last night and an awesome first playoff experience for my girlfriend. I left the game most impressed with Dustin Brown's play on the Kopitar goal...great stuff from the Captain when it was needed most.

I then discovered this last night: DUI Fries. Just dropping a suggestion for the next GDT as these were absolutely the right call after the game.

That looks like something one is going to regret consuming the morning after.

What is that? I see potato, bacon, cheese, and human brains

I was noticing a few Blues fans seem to have given up hope. It actually makes me feel sad for them but I am glad the Kings are stepping up.

I feel bad for most fans when their team loses. There are 2 sets fans I hope never win a game though.

Regarding Regehr's check on Reaves:

In no way was Reaves defenseless or not aware of the impending hit. Regehr waited until Reaves was close to the boards so he wouldn't go into the boards face first, and then he turned him into a bug on the plexiglass. The primary point of contact was not the head.

That's good, tough old time hockey right there.

Who was the ref that made that (non) call? That guy needs to give a clinic to other refs.....at least for this issue....

There may have been human brains in the chili but it went down smooth. It's 3:40 in the afternoon and my stomach is still talking to me, although the solid amount of whiskey is part of the reason for that as well.

For the record, the DUI Fries consisted of the following:

French fries, chili, carne asada, bacon, pastrami and cheese.

Girlfriend wanted french fries and I wanted a sandwich or burrito of some kind but wasn't sure which meat I wanted. This solved everything.

Were there many Blues fans at Staples?

I went to one of the Blues playoff games last season, and I would guess there weren't more than 100 fans wearing Blues shirts and/or jerseys. And when the Blues scored a goal, you couldn't hear them.

Stl fans must stay closer to home than fans from det, chi, bos and vanc.

I only meant on the boards. I check out the other teams sometimes to gauge what I see vs other fans.

Here's to hoping that this series mirrors our comeback win against the Blues in March.
It's the 3rd period, baby. Let's roll.
