Who is the winger?
Vanek if they can absorb a bit of his salary? He wants out of Buffalo

Greene-Martinez is the 3rd pairing I want to see. Get the band back together. Marty hasn't been great this season, but he has 4 rounds of experience leading to a Cup.

you need to look at his stats the last 13 games.
William admitted they were trying to win the game 1 nothing and didn't push hard enough for the second goal.

Buffalo is going to want a nice return, Think Carter/Slava.
Vanek is the face of the Franchise.
Dear god no. Filling one hole only to open another.

i have, you can look at last years as well they were probably better then quick's, i just think you just dont pop out of know where. he's largely a product of the team in front of him.
The Kings have two centers in Kopitar and JC, and Stoll was great this year, that still lets the Kings keep with the strength down the middle philosophy. It also gives them more cap flexibility going forward. Stoll is signed for 2 more years at 3 mill a season, Richards is signed for 7 more years at 5.75 million. Quite a bit for a guy who struggled at ES this season.
If the Kings could get a really good winger with a similar cap hit they would be dumb to not look at it.

For those of you looking ahead to the summer and what options the Kings may look at for 2nd line LWs, they could sign Filppula, an impending UFA. He's a forward capable of playing LW and C who can help setup Carter and Richards, oh and he can win faceoffs too.

No, I am not.
Mike Richards has no motor this season. I really think he is on the downside, just to many years of giving and taking a beating. Outside of the PP he was a non-factor this season, and he was a defensive liability 5 on 5. He still has great game sense and is a smart player, but physically he is limited. I don't think this is who Dean expected to get when he made the trade.
I was grilled earlier in the year when I said the Kings need to go forward with the expectation that MR is just a really good 3rd line center who can run the point on the PP rather than an elite 2nd line center, the good news is we have an elite 2nd line center in Carter, now it's time for Dean to upgrade on the wing.
You guys need to get moving Richards out of your heads.....
The GM is Dean Lombardi.......Let me say that again....Dean Lombardi...
Mike Richards is going nowhere, he is the wet dream of Lombardi.
The guy is going to retire a King.
You can disagree with that , but your are in for years of disappointment if you think Lombardi is every going to move that guy(regardless of production)....
Just look at Stoll......You think Lombardi is going to move Richards ?
You must think DL is an idiot if you think his fascination with Richards is gonna be strong enough to cost him his job. Thats bad management.
