GDT: WCQF: Game 7 Blues @ Jets 6PM CST FDSNMW/TBS

I haven’t followed the Blues as much but I still watch a game here and there when have the time. I was pulling for them. Sucks they choked, but I like the potential and they’re a fun team to watch.

Good series, We sucked in G7 though. They were down Morrisey early on.

Still don't like Kyrou and Thomas together. Not sure what the idea was behind the switch up there. Thomas always over passes when he's with Kyrou.

nobody should be mad. we were a total dog shit team at the break and the past 2 years this team was the most unlikeable clubs i have watched.

but the culture is changing back to what it was when backes and co built it up after our rebuild. people like snuggy and bolduc got massive experience.

now hopefully we can get rid of faulk and kyrou this offseason. getting people who can play bigboy playoff hockey and not be dumdums with the puck as crucial this offseason.

everyone is upset but as soon as they made it 3-2, i knew it was coming. they have not played well 6on5 all year. remember those games against anaheim and nashville were they scored AFTER the buzzer? they have been trash 6on5 and it cost them tonight.
I agree with you on Kyrou. I better hear that he got shot in the parking lot or something before this series started. Lazy, passenger, needs to hit the weight room (again)...etc. Faulk is a little different for me. He makes good plays on defense at times and Broberg can elevate that line enough to be competitive against most teams. He'd be more ideal on a 3rd pairing as he ages.

I feel bad for Faulk. At what point do you say that a player just can't win or your organization just can't win with this player. He makes some shit plays but isn't the worst defender.

I'd take him over almost anyone on that Jets D line

Hell of a season. How that 6 on 5 has burned us all year and not been addressed is unforgivable.

We'll be back.
Ask 89.

Im confused as to why 18 and 89 are on the PK to begin with. Neither are very good in that role, clearly. I would rather have the 4th line out there with Fowler. Broberg as well on the 6v5. Hopefully with a full offseason JM can iron this out.

Faulk has no business being on the ice leading late in close games. He has proven this over and over. Vancouver game is a perfect example of him doing the same shit he did tonight.

He must go. Kyrou + Faulk for B Tkachuk.

I usually support Kyrou because he can change games with his speed and is our leading scorer, but man, was he even trying tonight? He has to be hurt.
Well seeing that he led the team tonight in Scoring Chances For, Individual Scoring Chances, and Shots on 5v5. If he wasn't trying then the rest of the team was even worse

This is where I'll have to disagree. I'm not sold on Tkachuk. The price would be WAY too high and that ship has sailed. Idk who we can go after but after what DA did this past offseason, I'm confident he will put our long term future on the right course. Who would have even thought Broberg and Holloway would have contributed the way that they did for us when the Oilers fans were butthurt and telling us they were both shit.

He is not hurt. Everyone is hurt at this time of year. This is how he performs in the playoffs when he has gone against top team checking him. In 2022, you had teams circling 91/ROR/57 and them saying we will not let these guys score and beat us. They'd throw out their top pair against those guys.

Now he is being circled and he can't handle it. Look at his 3 goals in this series. All 3 of em are from NOBODY BEING NEAR HIM. Give him credit tonight for going to the net, but any player with a pulse and hockey IQ does that.

He is not a playoff type player and his asset of his speed is never used because he won't skate with the puck.

Who do we blame? I demand someone to blame!!
I blame Jobu.
We should have said F him a long time ago.

#1 Faulk
#2 Buch
#3 Kyrou/Thomas
#4 Coach for putting Faulk out on the ice in a close game. Should have learned the other half dozen times he played like a deer in headlights 6on5

I think upgrading #2 RHD pairing is more crucial this offseason than #2 C

Kyrou needs a driver and RT ain’t good with him. I hate those two together.
