I haven’t followed the Blues as much but I still watch a game here and there when have the time. I was pulling for them. Sucks they choked, but I like the potential and they’re a fun team to watch.
I agree with you on Kyrou. I better hear that he got shot in the parking lot or something before this series started. Lazy, passenger, needs to hit the weight room (again)...etc. Faulk is a little different for me. He makes good plays on defense at times and Broberg can elevate that line enough to be competitive against most teams. He'd be more ideal on a 3rd pairing as he ages.nobody should be mad. we were a total dog shit team at the break and the past 2 years this team was the most unlikeable clubs i have watched.
but the culture is changing back to what it was when backes and co built it up after our rebuild. people like snuggy and bolduc got massive experience.
now hopefully we can get rid of faulk and kyrou this offseason. getting people who can play bigboy playoff hockey and not be dumdums with the puck as crucial this offseason.
everyone is upset but as soon as they made it 3-2, i knew it was coming. they have not played well 6on5 all year. remember those games against anaheim and nashville were they scored AFTER the buzzer? they have been trash 6on5 and it cost them tonight.
Is EVERYTHING that you post a negative? And now they know how to lose.
Ask 89.Hell of a season. How that 6 on 5 has burned us all year and not been addressed is unforgivable.
We'll be back.
Faulk has no business being on the ice leading late in close games. He has proven this over and over. Vancouver game is a perfect example of him doing the same shit he did tonight.I agree with you on Kyrou. I better hear that he got shot in the parking lot or something before this series started. I feel bad for Faulk. At what point do you say that a player just can't win or your organization just can't win with this player. He makes some shit plays but isn't the worst defender.
I'd take him over almost anyone on that Jets D line
He was total ass as usual but we decided to turtle after 20 minutes.BTW, they gave 37 the third star. I guess they’re trying to help his ego.
It is when this team completes one of the biggest chokes in playoff history. Is EVERYTHING that you post a negative?
Well seeing that he led the team tonight in Scoring Chances For, Individual Scoring Chances, and Shots on 5v5. If he wasn't trying then the rest of the team was even worseI usually support Kyrou because he can change games with his speed and is our leading scorer, but man, was he even trying tonight? He has to be hurt.
Not the time for jokes.A toast to the blues for an incredible performance
This is where I'll have to disagree. I'm not sold on Tkachuk. The price would be WAY too high and that ship has sailed. Idk who we can go after but after what DA did this past offseason, I'm confident he will put our long term future on the right course. Who would have even thought Broberg and Holloway would have contributed the way that they did for us when the Oilers fans were butthurt and telling us they were both shit.Faulk has no business being on the ice leading late in close games. He has proven this over and over. Vancouver game is a perfect example of him doing the same shit he did tonight.
He must go. Kyrou + Faulk for B Tkachuk.
I don’t think the Blues quit before it was over. Winnipeg played hard the last 3 min of regulation and showed some real skill on those goals. The Blues can hold their heads high.I'm just tired.
Disappointed? I can see that. But it's the classic tale of the apparent victor quiting before it's really over.
He is not hurt. Everyone is hurt at this time of year. This is how he performs in the playoffs when he has gone against top team checking him. In 2022, you had teams circling 91/ROR/57 and them saying we will not let these guys score and beat us. They'd throw out their top pair against those guys.I usually support Kyrou because he can change games with his speed and is our leading scorer, but man, was he even trying tonight? He has to be hurt.
No, they quit.I don’t think the Blues quit before it was over. Winnipeg played hard the last 3 min of regulation and showed some real skill on those goals. The Blues can hold their heads high.
I blame Jobu.Who do we blame? I demand someone to blame!!
#1 FaulkWho do we blame? I demand someone to blame!!
Kyrou needs a driver and RT ain’t good with him. I hate those two together.#1 Faulk
#2 Buch
#3 Kyrou/Thomas
#4 Coach for putting Faulk out on the ice in a close game. Should have learned the other half dozen times he played like a deer in headlights 6on5
I think upgrading #2 RHD pairing is more crucial this offseason than #2 C
When you make 8+ million a year you should not need a driver, you should BE the driver.Kyrou needs a driver and RT ain’t good with him. I hate those two together.
