I really don't get it. Clifford plays miserable hockey for years, most nights the worst forward on the ice and is not only never scratched, he is often moved up to scoring lines and was even used as an extra attacker.
Fast forward to this series and Clifford is arguably one of the best players on the ice for the Kings, and is promptly scratched.
Very strange indeed
It's hilarious to me that they keep going back to a line that has exhibited zero chemistry every time they are together in Lucic-Kopitar-Gaborik, and I don't expect that to suddenly change tonight.
The pressure was also supposed to switch to them for game 4 after we won game 3?I'm still waiting to see us play at our best. I haven't seen it since the regular season and I haven't seen it all series. Like Basilisk said, if we can win tonight the pressure shifts to them. I've seen the boys get up for a big game, and there's no bigger game than an elimination game.

I fully expect an elimination tonight, but at least go out ****ing swinging for the full 60+ minutes. We have yet to put together a complete game of Kings hockey, which has been the most embarrassing part of this series for me. The Sharks are clearly the far superior team and they are executing their gameplan so damn well. They also aren't playing dirty, which I respect. Herlt is a fart sniffer, but he's doing a good job getting under the Kings' skin.
Is that how they lined up yesterday?
Maybe King can jump on the ice and get beat into the zone where Shore can somehow lose the most dangerous player on the ice and let him score on the first shot again.
Clifford has been great. Shore is ****ing ****.

That King-Shore-Lewis line, what the heck is that? Maybe a shutdown line? Their lack of offense is strong, so strong, that nothing they, nor the Sharks do can escape it's gravitational pull.
Play Gravel! What the hell is there to loose?

Where are people getting these lines? We haven't had morning skate updates yet
My lines aren't updated. I don't think they've been right for a few games. I'll try and get them right by tonight.
A loss tonight would be a repeat of 2011 in the sense that the Kings lost all three games at Staples.
That's always a nice playoff run for those paying to go to the games.
Ha! That Game 3 was SPECTACULAR. The Kings raced to a 3-0 lead in the first, we all stood in line for beer smiling our faces off, the Kings made it 4-0 right after intermission, the Sharks tied it by the end of the second, and at intermission we all stood in line for the pissoir with sour looks on our faces.
The Sharks won it 6-5 in OT.
