If they don't play Gravel over McBain......

1) I think they should give McBain's job to Lewis.....

2) I think they should give Lewis' job to Shore.....

Is it weird that I'm not even nervous?

I could see this going either way--Game 3 was our last gasp and we crap the bed again tonight, or Game 3 was a wakeup call, playoff Doughty shows up, and we're just totally merciless.

I expect a lot of heart there either way, should be fun, just gonna kick back and enjoy it, since we're potentially down to two games remaining in our Kings season. GKG!

No Shore please, I'd play Justin Auger over Shore at this point.

Curious about our #6 d though, can't imagine Sutter is going back to McBain after playing him for 5 minutes.

I expect the Sharks to start taking more runs at the Kings, especially Brown after he destroyed Donskoi. Hopefully he can draw a couple calls that way. I'll wager an undisciplined penalty from Thornton happens.

As long as they keep finishing their checks hard like last game, the Sharks will get frustrated and retaliate. I like our chances.

I have a feeling that the Kings will need to play a perfect game tonight.

San Jose is gonna want this one hella bad.

You guys have the ability to completely clamp down on teams... Is it true Doughty is playing Hurt?

Where have you heard these things?

With the amount of minutes and physicality he plays with I think it's safe to assume he always is playing with at least minor bumps and bruises

What are a few things you all think the Kings need to do in order to even out the series?

In my opinion--
1. Stay aggressive on the boards.
2. Keep Pavelski\Thornton off the scoresheet.

* Don't take unnecessary penalties
* Remember that puck possession is your greatest strength
* Get traffic to the net and shoot the damn puck
* Remember Jones' weaknesses and shoot for them
* Stop giving Thornton so much time and space
* Be patient and get cleaner breakout passes

My friend told me, Hes a huge kings fan, I thought i would get your guys opinion. I could see him getting worn down for playing to many minutes.. Or maybe he just doesnt trust guys like schen, You guys not having Voynov is hurting big time.. Voynov was Doubhty right hand.. I say you guys take this game in OT as well and break the sharks back..

voynov was captain of the 2nd unit not Drew's right hand man. Voynov made it so Drew could be paired with Muzzin though which was awesome.

I'm not in the play Gravel for McBain camp. Maybe for Schenn and Scuderi?? Both got through the last game, with Schenn hitting everything in sight. But I'm not thinking all of their issues are solved. If anything SJ is sitting around discussing how to exploit their weaknesses more. SJ seems to have two games in a row now played rather conservatively, and perhaps because they got the lead. But if they don't aggressively over pursue the puck against the Kings slow D, then the Kings will stand a chance in this series. You dont want to play systems chess with the Kings. You want to invoke the track meet. Imo.

Yeah, if they think Schenn is going to play 20 minutes, have to imagine the Thornton line is getting a fresh matchup.

You want a rookie with barely any NHL experience suddenly thrown into a crucial playoff game? That is a recipe for disaster.

Things are that dire. I really think Gravel could come in, even at this pressure level, and play better than McNabb, Scuds, or McBain. The coaches ****ed up big time by not keeping him up in the regular season and seasoning him early.
