Exactly my thoughts. You're near the crease, with your stick up? He'd just played for a tip, stick checked, but many milliseconds went by and... that happened. I don't think that was entirely accidental.

It would have been incredibly harsh to disallow that goal

1. The minimal/insignificant contact didn't really make a difference as Landeskog would have scored anyways

and

2. Because of how close the decision against the Avs in Game 2 was.

The league absolutely needs to take a look at that hit. But because Forsberg is a star and Nashville are the underdogs I'll be shocked if they suspend him. He should sit a game. It would be a 1-game for most, especially since it should have been a 5 and game misconduct in this game. If they'd called the latter then that would be enough.

100% agree. Even if it's accidental, the player knows their stick is caught in the mask..from the play, there was almost 3 seconds where the blade was in Kuemper's mask.
