And he doesn't even need to be THAT hot. He just needs to be a bit better than Skinner.

I think he was referring to their cap situation. This was their best chance this year .

Oilers have 9.8 million in cap space with only 7 forwards , 5 dmen and 2 goalies signed for next season . How are they going to make it work ? I feel like this was their best chance to win a cup , it gets tricky for them moving forward
