Wow! Watching that Rangers-Pens game tonight was reminiscent of some of those lackluster games earlier this season at Rogers Arena.

Maybe that's because there were so many ex-Canucks in the lineup.....Desharnais, Heinen and Beauvillier for the Pens, who were without both Crosby and Malkin. And of course Miller for New York.

Just a terrible loss by the Rangers.....losing on home ice to an undermanned and out-gunned Pittsburgh team. So many players did nothing, including Lafreniere who's set to make more than $7m next season. What happened to this guy? He's almost impossible to even find out there.

Rangers are still four points below the playoff bar and may not be done dealing yet. Will Miller play out his entire contract in New York? It's legitimate question to ask.

After it looked like the Red Wings might soon be ready to call it quits on the Elmer Soderblom experiment, he now has 5 points in his last 5 games and is seeing around 14 minutes of ice per night since the recall.

At 6’8” and 250+ pounds, If he can turn into a legit player that would be quite the asset for the investment of a 6th round pick.

Meanwhile our own Alriksson experiment is headed in the opposite direction right now.
But, Soderblom was a long term project and has had lots of ups and downs along the way too.

I wouldn't be too harsh on Bedard himself. A little slump is pretty normal, and as we saw with someone like Jack Hughes or Nathan MacKinnon, he's got more time to carve our his path.

The rest of that f***ing organization, however, has done a fantastic job surrounding their star child with nothing but pure garbage.

Well you can’t be both Tank Commander and have good players. At some point buildings a winning culture does matter.
Chicago has been what 6th, 3rd, 2nd worst and currently 2nd worst right now?

Going to need to Get out of the bottom 3 really soon.

Hehe and surely, such an upstanding organization totally not filled with scumbags from top to bottom that totally didn't shield a f***ing rapist would not have any trouble building a winning culture.
:sarcasm:

Ooooffffff
Rantanen trade hasn’t worked out well for carolina
1 point in 6 games
Now out for weeks with a lower body injury.

That's some shit luck there.

For some players it will take a little time to adjust to a new team, and now he's sidelined.
