Here’s the rule:

> If in the course of making a substitution, either the player entering the game or the player retiring plays the puck or who checks or makes any physical contact with an opposing player while both players involved in the substitution are on the ice, then the infraction of “too many men on the ice” will be called.

It’s an objective call and was objectively correct
So you're very technical with that call but yet you don't quote the rule book on the McDavid double crosscheck call. I can tell you are very neutral. /s

In the 3rd period of game 4 the high danger chances were 0-0. The official NHL YouTube highlights of the period straight up only showed the empty net goal.

Dallas gonna need a way better 3rd this time around.

Stars trying to top their embarrassing performance in the WCF last year. Probably not quite there yet but that was against a much better team.

Really feels like the Oilers need that 4th goal, Dallas is coming on.
More so think Dallas needed that first goal to end the period. Now Knob gets a chance to adjust cause he’s expecting a Dallas push now.

Home ice is clearly a disadvantage in the NHL playoffs. Going forward teams will have zero incentive to get a higher seed which will water down the product.
If they can somehow make it 3-2 before the 10 minute mark it will give the building life an advantage against Skinner.

But the life was absolutely sucked out of the building early and stayed that way because they couldn't get a shot on net to save their lives.

No, Edmonton has little to do with Dallas not even trying to forecheck
It's wearing on a team when they forecheck with the speed and numbers the Oilers do and give credit to the Oilers d they have been moving the puck with poise and confidence in their own zone getting to pucks first and calming the play down moving it up ice . Save for the end of the second period when whoever that was at the blueline decided to pass it back into the zone instead of just clearing the zone but I think it was a forward

I think line matching but honestly it's very limited now

It matters more in game 7s once you're into the conference final/final. Remember from 87-2009 nobody won a single one, nor even scored the 1st goal, nor was really even close to winning, Not sure if the PIT/VAN/STL wins were any real change or just random luck
