Their fans are fine, I'm just not a fan of Shaw or Kane

I had never heard of Shaw until this series so I didn't have any thoughts on him. As for Kane, he is a leprechaun and can go **** himself. But I still rooted for them in 2010 because I felt sorry for them at the time. They couldn't attract anyone even on dollar beer nights before Kane and Toews arrived.

Not me. Bloody Kane has now broken my heart twice although at least this was a good goal, not like in 2010.

Yeah, this one stings a lot less cause of last year though. I do hate Kane. Hope during the regular season we can knock his showy ass all over the ice. Shaw, too. He knew exactly what he was doing when he went for that hit on Richards in the 1st. F those punks.

Win one conference final in a Game 5 OT on the road, lose one conference final in a Game 5 OT on the road. One is a lot better than the other.

I still don't believe they would do that, but I think this game shows this series would've been a lot closer if Mike was out there. Really sucks that it happened. Just watching him on that last play with the tying goal, he's out there directing everyone and taking control of the situation.

Just sucks that most of the team had to be this unhealthy. The first two series were brutal. I'm not sure this is the same outcome if the Kings face the Hawks in the first round. What can you do though?

Makes you reflect back on that Blues series. Drawing the matchups is absolutely huge. That series I'm sure beat the **** out of the team when both teams were shattering the Hits-Per-Game record.

I have always been told since I was a kid that you want the team that beats you to win it all. That way you lost to the best team in the game.

Good luck to the Hawks and all, but if I have to pick, Go Bruins. It's nothing against the Hawks in particular, or their fans or anything. If the Hawks were happy at the end of this series, that means the Kings lost. I'd rather not see the Hawks that happy again.

I know how you feel. I feel the same way.

Maybe its cheer for the B's (I have done that throughout the playoffs this year) and be satisfied that the best team in the league took us out if the Hawks win.

I have struggled with this for decades but in the end when you go through a handshake line you always tell the team that beat you "you better go win it all" and/or "go get em and win it all", that sort of thing.

It wouldn't be terrible to me if we lost in the WCF to the team that lost in the SCF's.

HA! Unlike you, no one had to tell me this. I. Just. Knew. :)

My temper always kept me from seeing it. I had to be told a ton of times. Lots of peewee line brawls back then. 1 in Bantam too. Man I miss those days. Happy you were smarter at that sort of thing then me.

Lucky.
:)

Can't stand the Heat, can't stand the Canucks or the Red Wings. Everything else is a shrug for me.

Oh, I don't mind the Sharks, but their fans have LA-hate-itis so if they continue their playoff futility I'm not going to shed a tear over it.

Good season Kings. It was obvious they were running on fumes. Rest up and rev full force this coming season which will start in just about another 120 some odd days haha! No offense Hawks but Go Bruins! Boston Strong!!!

Honestly, I think this is the most content I've ever felt after a playoff loss. Only thing I'm sad about is not being able to watch Kings hockey for another 3 months.

Great season Kings. Can't be disappointed by a team that won SIX consecutive playoff series. Already looking forward to next year, even though it's going to be tough throwing away my tickets for Monday night!

I have been a Kings fan for over 40 years. I was extremely proud of the Kings team that lost to Boston in the playoffs way back when, but I have never been more proud of a Kings team in defeat than I was tonight. It would have been easy for them to lie down when they were down 0-2 in this game, but they are all heart.

The culture of the LA Kings has changed, and it's a great time to be a Kings' fan.

What a joke. We need a new head coach, new top line, new special teams coach, new goaltender. Hell, just blow it up. F this. Nearly swept by a team that didn't even get out of the first round last year? Gimme a break. The window is closing and our GM has no idea what he's doing. I'm done with this team.

Nah... I'm really proud of the team. Short of winning the Cup, the way the playoffs played out couldn't have been any better of a learning experience for the them. Rest up boys, and do it again next season!

We went from having no hockey until January to making it all the way back to the Conference Finals while battling injuries all season. We made it farther than the big two L.A teams in the Lakers and Clippers, We beat the Sharks, we made it farther than the 2 seeded Ducks, I couldn't be any prouder of this team for the incredible heart they showed this year.

I gave Kopi a ton of **** for his play, probably the most out of anyone, but he is a warrior for playing through the obvious knee injury and I expect him to have an incredible year next season. Him, Brown, and Williams showed huge heart playing hurt this series.

Also, I just wanted to say, I've been on HF for about 2 and a half years now and you guys have been incredible as hockey fans and people in general. It has been great getting to experience the Cup last year and the run this year with you guys, and I look forward to enjoying the bright future this team has with you guys.
