What a piece of ****. The Kings made it as far as the Sharks have ever been just this year, you guys also just won the cup last year he's a piece of **** whiner. Hilarious how my team got pegged for diving in 2011 yet the Sharks weren't this year.

BTW you guys have a hell of a team, I was on the bandwagon I know you guys don't need me to say this but I'll just go right ahead and say it you have a fantastic team, it's also great seeing a fan base actually acknowledge how great of a team you guys have. You don't have pessimistic pieces of **** like my team does. Anyways best of luck next year, we're now officially division rivals.

I think a lot has changed since last years SC win ('envy'). Than I mean regarding some people around here. Of course I dont know how they act over there. They are now the only Californian team that has yet to win it and time is running out. I have nothing against them but their pipeline is very thin and the core is (getting) old. I would not be surprised to see them become "Calgary like" for a few years.

Personally I notice a lot of jealousy from that area as being the only Californian team that has yet to win a SC.

I think there are still quite a few real good Shark fans on this site, but there is no doubt some real jerks have emerged

Really proud of our team, they showed heart yesterday. Just not enough left in the gas tank. They beat 2 very good teams and made it to the WCF, which isn't anything to sneeze at. Chin up boys, put the sun screen on and kick your feet up and take a breather. You've earned it. Training camp is not that far off.

I missed the whole game, was at a wedding. But I'm watching the handshakes now but you have to tip your hat to the Blackhawks, so much talent and such a solid team. Series would've gone to 7 if we were healthy, probably would've won it.

I want to personally apologize to Mike Richards. Man, did we ever miss him. The guy is so damn good, he might not be healthy or playing 100% all the time, but his swagger was just missed from game 2-4. I'm proud of the boys, proud to be a Kings fan and proud that they were able to go down and still keep their heads up. Fighting until the end, scoring with 9 seconds left and going out swinging. Respect to the Blackhawks again, class team and you can see how much both teams respect each other by simply watching the handshakes.

10 years ago if you would've told me the Kings would've won the cup in 2011-2012 and then went to the Conference Finals the upcoming season, I would've called you a liar. Love this squad and we've got a bright future with Toffoli, Voynov, etc. GO KINGS GO BABY!

Congratulations to the Hawks - a well-deserved game and series win. I'm hoping for an amazing Final.

I had quite a unique experience in viewing this game from about 2-1 on. My friends' band was playing at a bar in PB, supposedly going on at about 730 (once the game was over), and they wanted me to sing one of the songs. So, I went down, of course wearing my Kings sweater...

...forgetting that the 710 Beach Club is a Chicago-rooting bar.

I had NEVER seen as many hockey sweaters in that bar, much less had the experience of being booed as soon as I came into sight It was fascinating being the ONLY person in the bar with my arms in the air with the Richards goal.

Thankfully, I had already made mental peace with the Kings losing the game and the series -- so while I was bummed at the GWG, I did get to appreciate the massive eruption of celebration from the Blackhawks' fans. It was also kind of funny that immediately after the goal, I was pulled up on stage, still wearing the Kings sweater -- the sound guy later told me he was waiting for the bottles to fly... luckily security and the servers know me there

Now for the Kings to try to make the moves that will keep them in this position (or hopefully a slightly better one) next season.

Even though Slava Voynov's defensive miscue ended up being the reason that the Kings gave up the GWG, I still think he's a priority for the Kings to re-sign this off-season. The kid is just getting more and more solid. I just hope no other team manages any poison pill offer sheets.
