He didn't, you guys are really stupid with this crap. The Kings are keeping the shifts short WATCH THE DAMN ICE FOR ONCE>

Carter was keeping his shifts to 30 secs max, same for Richards the lines are going to be jumbled.

These guys can't stay on the ice the whole shift sometimes, and another center has to cover. Same goes for Wingers.

No **** sherlock, but I was talking about the previous games in LA where he deliberately put Stoll against Toews. If he really wants to put Stoll against Kane/Toews he should think about getting that useless LW off of his lineup card and put in Vey- who can at least clear the puck and take a shot on the net and not look like he skating in mud.

Whatever, expecting better game from Quick and the rest.

Qiuick pooped the bed today a number of times but, waddayagonnado?

On to the next game at home. Maybe we can get a few of those home style calls to start the game. Just sayin'.

:)

Oh yeah and the Hawks get full marks for playing a hard fought game. They threw everything including the kitchen sink against us and won fair and square. They still needed double OT to beat us and we are bringing it back to the Staples center.

GO KINGS GO!!!!

I thought the Refs were excellent, they really didn't bite on anymore dives after Kane flopped.

They let the Teams play in OT.

Don't let this thread turn into a grip feast.

Mitchell and Voynov have had some real solid play. Tonight was hard to watch tho, probably had something to do with Kane, Toews, and Saad.

Quick made some huge saves but I have not seen that many fat rebounds that led to goals from him in some time. Hoping he will lock it down on Friday.

Kings did well and had every opportunity to win that game. 4th one is the hardest to get.

Sometimes Kopitar has got to force his will upon a game. He's great at picking his spots but I want him to take over a game. Game 6 will be the time to do that.

I agree. I am only saying that the first PP that the Hawks got to start the game and get the scoring going was bunk. But I don't think that the refs were really playing favorites or anything like that. I mean we didn't lose the game due to any officiating issues.

Next game.

Kings should realize any team can come back from 2 or 3 games down(look at us vs. SJ/ANA). Hawks also came back from a 3-1 deficit last playoffs. They gotta finish this series off Friday.

Only game the Kings HAVE to win, is an elimination game. One game at a time folks.

So who do you guys want to see matched up against Saad-Shaw-Kane? Handzus isn't a regular on that line and will likely be centering Sharp and Versteeg.

We know Kopitar's line is going to match up against Toews, and for most of the night it was Stoll's line out whenever Kane was on the ice.

Don't think the Forwards were a problem, Mitchell/Slava was.

Home ice Sutter won't be putting that pairing out there. That had to be the worst game I have seen Mitchell ever play in the playoff's.

He couldn't do anything right, the puck seemed to always find him as well. When it's going bad , the puck is going to find you. Also made worse by having Slava on the other side.

Quick needs to be good and the defense will be alright.

He was the worst player in a Kings Jersey today.

What? Slava was responsible for the first goal. The OT goal was not Quick's fault, Zus had no coverage. Slava is taking a split second too long when he's making decisions and that's the issue. That comes from a lack of confidence so hopefully he will do some good things to get it back.

On to the next game.
