Good win! Need to do that again next game. Kopi is definitely hurt. I know the Hawks are fast but not that fast. Kopi got caught from behind every single time there was open ice and it was only within a few strides. Let's remove all offensive expectations and just let him be a depth player. He can still contribute defensively and he still has his hands on the PP.

That was such an amazing game to be at. My voice is completely gone, haha. Also, Voynov is a stud. Pay that man, Dean.

It was interesting what Evans said during the post game. Sounds like Sutter thought the best spot for Kopi would be on the third line, so he can continue playing his cycling and defensive game. Evans said it would be a bonus if Kopi scores and hopefully playing on the 3rd line can take off the pressure. Made it sound like they can't depend on him for goals, gotta come from somewhere else. I understand what they're saying, but that just sounds weird. He's our top guy and all. :/

I think it's safe to say Jeff Carter is going to be playing center (likely with TT on his wing) for the foreseeable future. Talk about a dominant performance. I've forgotten what it's like to see a guy take over all three zones like JC did tonight, that's how Kopitar looked during last years cup run.

If Richards is able to return he will probably be with Williams/Brown and Stoll moves to 4th line with Fraser sitting.

If Sutter does something ridiculous like move Carter to wing again and put Toffoli on the 4th line I will lose it.

Kopitar's defensive game hasn't suffered at the rate his offensive game has. Putting him in a more defensive role will, and already has, done wonders. He looked solid tonight. We all know he's injured so taking the pressure of top minutes and a top scoring role of his shoulders will loosen up his game and possibly even allow him to contribute points.

Next season he'll be our #1 stud, like usual.

That Carter line was one of the more beautiful things I have seen all year. Toffoli is such a stud and is going to be an essential piece for many, many years. His poise for a 21 year old is nothing short of remarkable.

He reunited the top line despite them not doing anything at even strength for eons. Wouldn't count anything out.

Richardson had a hell of a game and I believe he will be in for game 4.

Sat next to Blackhawk fans...very respectful. Nothing like Red Wings fans would be. I thanked one of them for knocking out those a-holes in the last series.

The ones sitting next to me didn't have a clue as to what hockey is. I had a brain fart and couldn't remember their backup goalie, so I asked the guy next to me and he didn't know, but his wife did.

I told him I thought Emery was better than Crawford, and he just stared at me blankly.

The other Hawks fans don't know much of the game either. I had to keep correcting him...he told my friend he had season tickets to Hawks games. Hard to believe. He thought throwing the puck up into the stands from center ice represented a penalty. I had to explain the rule to him.

Anyway I think most fans from Chicago know the game but these two were clueless. But very nice people...much better than Sharks fans have been at the games.

Oh, yeah...

That ****er Keith needs to sit for at least one game. Watching the post game now and Keith Jones said it best: "Duncan Keith was very apologetic to Carter, I would be too if I lost it like that."

One game suspension is my prediction. He should have got a five-minute major also...don't know what the refs were thinking.

I'm told the league is reviewing the Duncan Keith/Jeff Carter hit. No word on a hearing yet. #Blackhawks #LAKings

Oh man it hurts watching Kopi. Not complaining because he is most definitely injured but it just kills me seeing him like this.

It's hard to watch. Feels weird not seeing him in the top 6 but it's the right move. :(

Das our captain

#LAKings Dustin Brown, on it being harder to win this year: "This is kind of what I expected it to be when we did this last year. In retrospect you look back and after it was all said and done I talked to guys who had won a Cup before + they talked about how hard it is [to repeat]. Last year I thought we were playing at a level few teams ever played at and this year we're finding it to be much more difficult not only in the nature of the games but we've had to deal with injuries left + right. That's part of playoff hockey and something we didn't have to deal with last year. We're trying to learn how to deal with it quickly this year and trying to persevere.
