Lol yes it's a double edged sword Atleast Muzzin will look better when he's hemmed into our zone. Your logic is beautiful.

Not like Muzzin has been Rod Langway back there, but my god, it would be hard to imagine anyone playing as poorly as Amart did his last two chances he has had to play.

Would rather go with LOLerby

The puck doesn't go in. That's what matters.

Seems like everyone's okay with Martinez hopping in and creating two on ones for the other team. Now that's logical.
 
Richards being out hurts, glad Carter can play center to fill in but the team needs everyone if we have a chance at getting back in this series. Let's hope home ice stay perfect for us tonight.

People see what they want to see, A-mart is not hemmed in his zone cause he has already been beat and the puck is in the net(Handzus beat him one on one for Christ sake). ....

Sutter has to use A-Mart a certain way due to A-Mart's poor play all year.

Muzzin gives Sutter a little bit more leeway.

But it doesn't matter, If Drew Doughty plays the same game he did in game two.....It's going to be ugly regardless.
 
You know you have no business playing when you get owned in back to back games by Scott Gomez and Michal Handzus.

I am not disputing that AMart was good LAST YEAR, but some of you have to let last year go.
 
I am very sad to see Kopitar's line is still intact, going to ride them right out of the playoff's.

They suck the life out of good shifts from the second and Third lines.

No, you're right, Martinez has been less than what we saw from him last year. I'm disappointed in him because he was so key for us in our run. Maybe the stats bear out as you pointed out, but let's not pretend we're swapping Randy Jones for Chara here. Muzzin's been pretty confused and abused out there too.

That being said, I'm sure it's a learning experience for him, which is great, but as another poster said, I'd like to see him get a bit nastier instead of being a giant teddy bear/hitting dummy.
 
I'm not sure how long it's been since I've pulled out this old faithful line, but it's true. I love this team, no matter what, win or lose. I'm proud of what they've done to get us here, and what they are following up. No team, no win, no loss can take that away from us.

The Kings are capable of pulling off the grit and hunger to bring a much needed win. Sure, we are facing adversity this time around, but I think our clutch pulls us through.

Looking forward to watching our boys play tonight. WCFs baby. Hockey in June. It doesn't get much better than this. It does, but it takes 4 more wins to get there.

Let's get that first one tonight. ;)

thats how i feel. i havent felt this way about any series since our run till this. everyteam we played last year up to this year i felt we were waay better than but this series i feel like we're in over our heads.
 
Not gonna lay this game at Quick's feet. 3rd game in 4 nights. It's the forwards that are going to have to get sustained pressure on Crawford and limit Chicago's shot attempts if they want Quick to be good tonight. If he's getting showered with 30+ shots again, this will be a loss.

Pretty much, and it's evident our team has a lot of injuries to break out of this. There's a difference between motivation and injuries. I think we are done soon. I'm not upset at all. We went further than we should of. I'm more curious to see the release of the injuries than anything else.

Why are you defending Muzzin? The guy gets beat just as bad as Amart and looks just as lost. Amart can at least handle the puck, Muzzin doesn't have a CLUE what to do with the puck.

Muzzin belongs in the AHL.
 
Great, no Richards and Brown/Kopi/Williams are still together. Not feeling good about this

At this point I am just hoping the Kings represent themselves well and give the Hawks something to worry about in this series.

They can't afford to go back to Chicago down 3-1 and have a real chance.
 
Home Sweet Home. The Kings need to play they're game tonight and welcome Chicago properly to the Staples Center. Squash them like bugs, especially Bickell and Shaw, They were playing dirty with impunity last game.

Home ice and Kings can do this. Adversity takes a back seat to determination and will. Go Kings
 
Kopitar and co will be fine. The lineup is elite at home, arguably the best. Only if the team goes down early by 2, then Sutter will make adjustments.

I expect this series to be tied later in the week. Put in the work and make it happen, Kings!
