Hawks fan here,
I don't really understand the arrogance of some of the other Hawks fans on the main board. I honestly think they are just gambling on the chance to look really smart/psychic in the event that the Hawks manage to repeat. Anyone who soberly, rationally looks at the game realizes that the Kings played exceptionally well in Game 1 given their lack of rest, and that the Hawks benefitted from some puck luck. I honestly want to call refereeing a wash, and although that may sound biased, I think the Kings got a very fortunate call against the Sharks in that Game 6 on a CLEAR goaltender interference situation that was 'not reviewable'; the Kings, to me, didn't really deserve the call they got last night in a karmic sense.
Anyway, your play really has me worried about our chances. I think the Hawks' best chances are to capitalize on home ice and take advantage of your weak non-Reghr-D-Man* with match ups and continue to try to get the first goal - you guys are tend to be much easier to beat when you're trying to score, as are most teams.
Peace out, and good luck. Kings are definitely the class of the west, along with the Hawks.
*This guy was Schultz in Game 1, it may become Greene later on, but it doesn't matter because I don't think you really have anyone good enough to fill in for Reghr & Voynov can't carry a pairing on his own.
