Meanwhile, in front of the hawks net, punches to the back of the head are fair game. It's about consistency.

No. All he did was shove. He did not not punch, he did not crosscheck. 2 minutes for pushing. Playoffs they let a ton of **** go, that was a terrible call regardless of how childish you claim.

Lol. What he skated right at the goalie hard when there isn't even a loose puck to begin with. They protected their goalie, and it was just a shove. Not a punch. Bollig flopped. That's never a call these playoffs.

Every time I hear the term "Chicago Blackhawks" I get a funny feeling in my stomach, like indigestion.

Poor judgement by the refs not to see that Bollig embellished. Martinez should have left Bollig be, but you have to call the dive and have both guys sit for 2 mins.

I agree. A roughing on Martinez and dive on Bollig would have been the correct call. Oh well, onwards and upwards.

Even Bollig was laughing about the call. It was a dive. He could have just as easily been called for unsportsmanlike conduct.

You can already see the speed of the Hawks is going to be a problem for the Kings. They spend far too much time chasing the puck and are having difficulty breaking out of their own zone.

The one positive is the Kings cycle game in the offense zone looks very good. Once they've gotten the puck in they've been able to sustain some pressure with good cycling.

I just feel like the Kings are going to be chasing the Hawks around too much in this series, losing the puck possession battle. And the Hawks offense is too potent, they will make the Kings pay.

Three periods like that would make a statement in the Kings favor, win or lose. I'm happy with how we looked against them. That goal was unfortunate, but the reaction by our team looked right on. Still 40 minutes to play, expect to see the Kings coming out swinging.
