Avs finally showed how dominant they can be. When they are on, the other team won't get to play. I'm absolutely sure Frankie's strong start gave this team confidence to take the game over. That third period was a thing of beauty.

Avs should split in Edmonton at the very least.

Good game. Avalanche played better. Came down to three minutes of play. Nurse was on ice all three those goals against Edmonton. Avalanche won all major battles in corners, bounces, etc, discipline.

I was told Woodcroft was going to make adjustments after game 1 and the Oilers win game 2. So I ask, what adjustment did he make so his team went from scoring 6 goals to 0 goals?

Thanks in advanced
He's just Dave Tippett with a worse haircut. Only moves are randomly splitting up and reuniting McDrai

Where is the guy I’ve seen numerous people call the best player since Gretzky? Was he playing tonight? Didn’t notice.

There’s at least 5 guys in the league I take before McDavid. Minimum. Let alone all time. But McDavid will always have his regular season trophies.

So that’s nice.
Is that you Mike Milbury? LOL

Game 2 showed the Avs are good and if they don't let their foot off the pedal the Oilers don't have a chance.

Edmonton will have to get McDavid away from Makar at home because he's getting completely owned out there. I'm curious what the advanced stats say.

Oilers are an easy team to root against.
Not really.

McDavid, Draisaitl, Hyman. Those 3 are the beacons of light on the team as far as I'm concerned.

Kassian, Kane, Nurse and Smith are the only real players anyone should root against.

It's really easy to root for Mackinnon, Landeskog, Makar though. As a Leaf fan, Kadri is very easy to root for as well, but he is an acquired taste like so many others around the league - Tkachuk *2, Marchand, etc...

He really isn't.. Smith was good tonight..those deflection goals were not on Smith.. swap the goalies and the result would be the same
Denial is a river on HFboards...I've traversed it myself

Holy overreactions to a single game...batman...

For as much as Colorado dominated Edmonton in game 2, I don’t even think it was in the top 3 of most dominant games they have had this playoffs. They are playing some amazing hockey.

Woodcroft needs to get McDavid as far away from Mackinnon as humanly possible on home ice.
