This. Whoever wins the WCF gets stone walled in the cup final and gets swept by Tampa. Be prepared for an even more one sided SCF this year than the Habs last year.

I could see Tampa if maybe the mileage catches up with them having trouble with the speed of COL or EDM. That is maybe the wildcard, especially if they play a 6 or 7 game ECF. They may not look tired but they may BE tired and the fact FLA/CAR/NYR are not especially fast or explosive in playoff type hockey may be disguising it. We won't know til the final

Smith is just not good enough. I'll be rooting for Edmonton but I don't see it.
Yup. EDM are massive underdogs but let's hope they make it really close and it goes the distance. It will be great for the fans and the league.

This series might be the highest scoring series in history. Both goaltenders are playing like complete shit and against the highest talent you could ask for.

Winner gets to have their ass handed to them by Vasy.
To be fair, both teams have more offensive firepower compared to the other finals opponents Vasy & Tampa have had to face.

Well Avs fans, let us take a moment to commune over a shared passion:

While I'll always fondly remember those carefree days when you were our fanbase's favourite team after that series in 2019, I fear this is where our friendship must end. This one could go down as one of the all-timer WCF series if both teams bring their 'A' game more often then not. Congrats on putting the second round demon to rest, and see you Tuesday!
