Yeah, Simmonds is really a win now, win hard sort of piece especially with his contract. I have no idea why any 'Nucks fans would want him given that they should be pushing the reset button.

Unless someone like Anaheim were willing to move one of their D men and a pick/prospect - a team with a surplus somewhere preparing for the expansion draft. It's hard to say what we would be looking for exactly because we have really good prospects in the pipeline at every position and they seem to be lining up well to come together in the NHL at the same time, and any move for current players would have to fit in with that. Our primary weaknesses at the moment IMO are 3C and RHD, maybe a LW with speed/scoring.
